Those charming souls at Westboro Baptist Church have chosen Elizabeth Taylor's funeral to be the site of their next publicity stunt, a daughter of WBC Pastor Fred Phelps has announced. In post after post on Twitter, Margie Phelps chortled condemnations to members of the media who were sending out tweets regarding Taylor's death and she promised that the congregation -- mostly folks with the last name Phelps -- will picket the funeral.
"Her whoredoms enabled filthy f**s! She now answers for her gr8 sin in hell!" she tweeted to Perez Hilton. To ABC's Jake Tapper, she wrote, "No peace for whore who taught proud sin! Too late for her to repent!"

Elizabeth would just be able to look down her nose at this Westboro hate group and wipe their dust from her feet....and then just leave them in their dust which is all they are. Trust me, her life will be remembered long after this insane group is gone.

May God bless Miss Elizabeth Taylor with all the rewards heaven has to offer her. She dwelled among the greatand mighty without forgetting about the meek and vulnerable.

OMG please stop this nonsense, your giving Baptists a bad name for goodness sake. Your no Christian, Christians do not judge, that is for God only, and your bringing the Baptist's name down in the dirt.

golly, may all the loving gays and their familys, dress up and gather at their funerals. line the streets and hold signs of love to the family of deceased!!

I somehow don't think Elizabeth would give a damn with that said these people need to get lives and grow up.

I love it when someone dies who has had a very full life that these religious fanatics scream foul. Guess what? The supreme sacrifice has been made. She is Dead. That is all that anyone can do. The rest of these creeps can be expected to be talked about as well when they go. It is pure evil to speak ill of the dead. They cannot or should NOT have to defend themselves against a group of fanatical idiots claiming to be God-fearing. It is a sad day for the Lord watching.

This is a church of moostly family members , maybe 60 -80 people. Where do they get the money to travel all over and protest at funerals. It is America and they have the right I guess but I do think they are so misguided.

Those people claiming to be Baptists are no more religious than those who blow up buildings with an intent to hurt as many people as possible.

Shame of them. They call themselves "Christians". I don't believe that for a second. Christ was all about love, forgiveness and repenting for one's sins, not hatred. I think they need to go back to Sunday school for some extra lessons.
Also, shame on the supreme court for allowing them to continue with their hate filled messages. I'm all for the bill of rights, but I think this is going a bit too far.

These people aren't Christians, they're an abomination to human kind. I'm a Christian and they leave a bad taste in my mouth, as well as with everyone else. What happened to what the bible ACTUALLY says instead of twisting it? These people have nothing in them but hate towards everyone. CULT!

Westboro should preach the Love of Jesus to change gays not hatred

Seriously? Gays don't need to change. People just need to be more accepting and understanding, or at least tolerant. My best friend is a gay man and I wouldn't change him for anything. Love you Greggers :)
Elizabeth was a Lady. Someone who saw that someone needed to step forward and give the people and the cause a voice. It's not just GLBT people that deal with HIV/AIDS, innocent babies are born everyday with this disease. Straight men and women, people who get blood transfusions, run a risk. We all run the risk of this.
These so called people of the church are clueless. They bring disgrace to all religions. No wonder so many have turned away, from not only the church, but also from God. It's beyond imagination.

I think the West Boro Baptist Joke is like a real bad pimple. If you try to pop it, it gets worse and leaves an ugly scar. It can also cause more little pimples. If you ignore it as best as you can, however, it will fade and eventually disappear.
The best thing we can do with hateful organizations is ignore them as best as we can. If we give them publicity it encourages them.
