Westboro Picks Elizabeth Taylor Funeral for Next Publicity Stunt

Those charming souls at Westboro Baptist Church have chosen Elizabeth Taylor's funeral to be the site of their next publicity stunt, a daughter of WBC Pastor Fred Phelps has announced.

In post after post on Twitter, Margie Phelps chortled condemnations to members of the media who were sending out tweets regarding Taylor's death and she promised that the congregation -- mostly folks with the last name Phelps -- will picket the funeral.

"Her whoredoms enabled filthy f**s! She now answers for her gr8 sin in hell!" she tweeted to Perez Hilton. To ABC's Jake Tapper, she wrote, "No peace for whore who taught proud sin! Too late for her to repent!"

The "God Hates [insert anything, really]" church presumably dislikes Taylor for her advocacy for AIDS/HIV research.

Taylor's funeral will likely take place in Los Angeles. Details have not been announced.

Lately Margie Phelps has been focusing her efforts on hatin' Lady Gaga, who like Taylor, is a friend to the gay community. They also got into a tiff with Ozzy Osbourne, who objected to their use of his hit 'Crazy Train' during their protests of gays in the military.

To the people of Westboro Babtist Church, who are you to judge this woman for what she has done with her life. You are all supposed to be bible reading good Christians. If you really read the bible, it says judge ye not lest ye be judged yourself, you hypocrite. God is the only one who can judge people. To all of you I say, someday you will have to go before God and answer for all your judging of other people.

These people are idiots. In SC, this past weekend, a local radio station gave them air time to keep them away from a soldier's funeral. They agreed since they love to spout hate. So one less family was terrorized during their grief.

Oh how I wish Elizabeth would awaken from the dead and smite this obscene group. Perhaps the millions of loyal fans could attend and form triple circles around the church and cemetery and block parking for the hatemobile from the Westboro House of Hate (It is not a church) within a three or five miles area.

Ms. Taylor's services and burial should be kept quiet and away from media hype. As far as Westboro goes.. be ready Easter Sunday when your church in Topeka is protested..people will be exerting their first amendment rights there that day. Happy Protesting.. I'm sure thousands will be outside your church disrubpting your Easter services.

These people are crazy and the media shouldn't give them any attention!!!!! When I look a elizabaths photo's in her youth...I think how Mila Kunis resembles her...prefect features. lovely shaped lips and face and those eyes!!! Hopefully, the media won't find out where her funeral is so those nuts can't picket and if they do...please don't give them one ounce of attention. While I loved Taylor for her beauty and acting...the most worthwhile thing she did on this earth was raise money for Aides.

The Westboro Talibaptist are at in again. These vile and deranged people are obviously mentally ill. If they do show up in California to "protest" at this funeral, they should all be taken into custody under section 5150 of the Welfare and Institutions Code for a 72 hour involuntary mental observation. If they are locked in the looney bin they can't disrupt the funeral.

It sounds like the Westboro (church my a**) blame all Americans for one thing or another that is going wrong. If the US is so full of sinners, the Westboro (church my a**)needs to move to a country more suitable to their beliefs. They obviously are NOT happy living here. I am a Christian and go to church faithfully but I do not uphold the Westboro Church in their escapades. Doesn't the Bible teach that he who is without sin should cast the first stone? Maybe Hollywood lives without morals but who am I to judge? I have made mistakes and the only one I need to answer to is the Lord Himself. To the members of Westboro Church please do not represent me and other Christians when you do this because people like you make our faith look bad. Jesus tells us to love one another and all you are doing is cause hate!
