Gwen Stefani Donates $1 Million to Japan Victims

There's no doubt
Gwen Stefani is charitable, especially after she announced Wednesday that she has donated $1 million to help victims of the devastating Japan earthquake and tsunami.
According to
UsMagazine.com, the No Doubt singer's donation will go to Save the Children's Japan Earthquake-Tsunami Children in Emergency Fund. Those familiar with Stefani's music and fashion line know the Japanese culture is close to her heart.
"I've been inspired by Japan for many years and have a true love, appreciation and respect for the Japanese people and their culture," Stefani told Us in a statement.
"The disaster in Japan is beyond heartbreaking, and I want to do anything I can to help. I would never be able to make a gesture like this without the love and support of all the fans over all these years," she continued.
Her charitable efforts don't stop there. Stefani, who is behind the L.A.M.B. fashion line, will introduce a limited-edition Harajuku Lovers T-shirt on
nodoubt.com next week, with all proceeds going toward relief efforts.
Stefani's donation matches
Sandra Bullock's $1 million
contribution to Japan and joins several other celebrities who have vowed to donate to the disaster-stricken country.

Very proud of you, Gwen. For giving back and acknowledging where the money came from. You are a wonderful role model for your children. Keep up the good work!

the Kansai Animal Refuge in Japan needs financial help also...a little from everyone mounts up!
Gwen must be one great person, to give that kind of money to people over seas.
I only wished I could help that much, and I would, if only I could.

HEY!
How about donating some of you're wealth here in the good ole USA....we need help too!!

Of course she's a Democrat. You won't see any GREEDY NEOCON REPUBLICANS donating any money. They only count money, they don't donate it!

Hollywood dems are always donating to causes outside of the USA. They make all their money here but spend it elsewhere. If only Gwen could manage to get all of her millionaire friends to donate to causes here, this country would be alot better off. For some reason people think that there are no poor, sick, destitute people living on the streets with their children in the USA> They are so wrong. Charity should always beging at home.
That money could have saved a lot of homeowners from this foreclosure crisis right here on our own soil. Japan has lots of money to help their own, I can't believe we fall for these donations all the time, when our own neighbors are in need. That money could have helped a lot of people stay in their homes this year! How about helping those that helped you rise to fame!

Hello, does anyone remember Pearl Harbor????? Karma is a b...ch. Like one of the readers up-top, there are lots of people in the USA, who could use some help.

I think Pearl Harbor has been rectified by now, Buddy. Why don't you go out and meet a Japanese person and let it go. I'm pretty sure that dropping a couple nuclear bombs on Japan wasn't exactly even-Steven. Good luck with that grudge though. Very back-woods kind of s**t.
So, Catalectic, I have met plenty of Japanese people, now can they bring back my grandfather who parished at Pearl, no they can't. But I do love it when I have them cook for me, at the resturant. Sorry, thats the backwoods in me. hahaha
Gwen Stefani is the real deal. A beautiful and genuine person inside and out. Some celebrities need to take a lesson from this woman. She's an awesome role model for anyone.
