Sources: No 'X Factor' Deal For Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj may be feeling like a dungeon dragon, but she's not bringing any of that fire to 'The X Factor' any time soon.

A source recently reported that Minaj had flown out to Los Angeles to speak with Simon Cowell about a potential judging gig on his hit show. "'X Factor' is aiming for a younger audience," said a source for the New York Post. "This isn't a done deal yet, but Nicki would be great for the show. She fits the idea that 'X Factor' will be exciting, vibrant and different. And the show would also be great for her career."

Any information about a spot on the show, however, is news to Minaj's ears.

"There's nothing going on with ['X Factor']," a TMZ source now reports.

Should the 'Pink Friday' songstress change her mind about the position, she'll be in good company.

Famed producer L.A. Reid has already confirmed his participation on the show. In an official press release, Reid stated, "I am proud to stand next to my dear friend Simon Cowell, one of the world's most gifted and charismatic talent magnets. 'The X Factor' provides an extraordinary opportunity for aspiring artists of every age and genre to showcase their unique talents. I truly look forward to discovering our next generation of superstars."

Rumors have also been swirling that Reid will be joined by The Pretty Reckless lead singer and former 'Gossip Girl' star Taylor Momsen, although she has not confirmed these reports.

If Nicki Minaj gets selected as a judge for X Factor,
I don't want to know how she does that tihs, so I hope
that position doesn't happen for her, and she sticks
to singing, even though I think her next album will flop.

Why would they consider this Minaj or that sickening Momsen? Minaj was never heard of until recently. Her fame is new and due to one album, her publicist, and the ridiculous look is just a Lady Gaga ripoff. Shouldn't you actually have to earn things in this life? I don't think one hit album is earning your way. Someone should have to have an established career to get a judging job like this. Who is she to judge? She has one hit album with a couple hit songs to her record. That qualifies her to judge talent? Wow.

And Taylor Momsen?? She's disgusting and she lets herself get photographed in her underwear in public. Pure sleeze. She's an absolute nobody. Whoever heard of the The Pretty Reckless? She was on a stupid Tv show and was kicked off due to bad behavior on set and lack of professionalism. All of this qualifies her for a potentially high-profile show as a judge of other people's talent when she obviously has none herself? Simon Cowell was on Leno saying he was going to get the best, most qualified judges. Right. Who are you kidding Simon? Is this the best you can do? You and LA Reid are qualified, but a one-album wonder who copies Lady Gaga's weirdness and a no-talent piece of trash in Momsen.

What happen to Real music? To real Talent?? Shouldn't a person have talent if they are going to judge a talent contest? This "woman" is all hype. She is over-exposed. Her lyrics are atrocious and her look is horrendous. Only in America. This countries going to hell in a hand basket and this woman is giving the grand tour.
