Rachel Zoe and Hubby Welcome Baby Boy

Rachel Zoe and her husband Rodger Berman have welcomed their first child in Los Angeles, PEOPLE reports.

Zoe's rep announced that the 6-pound, 12-ounce baby boy, Skyler Morrison Berman, arrived in the world safe and sound, much to the delight of his proud parents.

"Mom and Dad 'LITERALLY' could not be happier or more in love with their son!" Zoe and Berman announced in a statement.

Reports surfaced yesterday that Zoe had gone into labor, which her camp neither confirmed nor denied.

Zoe announced her pregnancy in November on Twitter, telling followers, "Hey everyone! I want to officially confirm to my loyal friends and followers that I am pregnant! I feel great, Rodger and I are beyond excited and so thankful for all of your love and support."

Starting a family had been a source of conflict for Berman and Zoe on their Bravo hit 'The Rachel Zoe Project,' although the stylist repeatedly remarked on her love for children. "From what I can tell just from being an aunt, (motherhood) is the greatest thing that ever happened," said Zoe.

While the couple have not announced the thinking behind their son's name, Zoe's love of music might suggest his middle name is a nod to Doors frontman Jim Morrison. When discussing her desire for children on her show, Zoe announced that if she had a daughter, she would name her Scarlet Begonia after the classic Grateful Dead song.

Zoe will either use the kid as a prop or hand him off to a nanny at the drop of a hat. Celebrities are more important to her...at least the one's who don't know how to dress themselves and think that Zoe can. As if it takes a doctorate to know the difference between a pretty dress and an ugly one.
Thank God the boy's father will be around to bring him up.

That's really unfair of you to say that. She has never been a mother before so we don't know what she will do. It's really not fair to judge her. Children change people's lives. Her work was her life before she had a child. If she can afford to have people in place to help her to continue to work and be a great mom, then more power to her.
