EXCLUSIVE: Taylor Momsen is many things, but timid isn't one of them. Just weeks after losing a valuable spokeswoman contract to Kelly Osbourne (presumably due to outlandish behavior), the singer/actress sat down with PopEater wearing little more than a cut-up Motorhead T-shirt, a hoodie and a garter belt.As her co-songwriter/guitarist Ben Phillips put it, "This chick is crazy!"
Speaking in promotion of her band, the Pretty Reckless, front-woman Momsen pulls no punches in regards to her bad girl reputation, which has been growing since the actress took a hiatus from her day job as Jenny Humphrey on 'Gossip Girl' to focus on her music.
"I think music needs danger," Momsen tells PopEater. "It needs that risk."

i wish she would wake up and take a good look at herself. she had a good thing on gossip girl, but she wanted to focus on her music career instead? what a joke, maybe if she had musical talent it would be understandable, but she doesn't. and her outfits are not creative or unique at all. she looks like she is trying too hard to be like lady gaga and Katy perry. what a joke.

your so right if Taylor had musical talent maybe the tabs would focus on that but she doesn't so they focus on her style. she's young stupid and overpaid if for example Melissa Newman had focused on acting when she was younger she could've been a huge star in her own right even though she's the daughter of two academy award winners who are beloved Icons in the film business.

Wow, does she have ears? Honey, you music is warmed over pop dressed up with over produced guitars....not dangerous in the least. Really tame stuff. She can talk the talk, but she can't walk it.

I'm a progressive rock musician, so I may be a bit biased when I say music doesn't need "danger", it needs TALENT!

I'm a fan of her music. I think it's really good and I hope to see her in a live show.

Keep in mind, she's young and at her age "didn't we all think we knew it all". I only hope she has someone looking out for her, there are so many mistakes you can make as a kid that will stay you the rest of your life.

Lay off the girl. She's not so different than some of the young women I see walking down the street. At least you don't see her pounding people that are smaller than she is, which seems to be A Hollywood-Hunk prerequisite these days. If parents don't like it, turn the damn TV off for a change. My kids didn't have cable TV most of their years at home because it caused many heated disagreements. They're still alive and well. The girl was also sent out to work at the ripe age of 2 years of age. I might be a little pissed, too. Toddlers aren't typically supposed to be the family breadwinners.
