how is it possible to know what you mean simply by saying some dead guys name two times?
@Rose, it's a song.....
Oh Giant Fan no wonder we dont know what the heck you are talking its because you are a Giant Fan.
SANTA CLAUS....SANTA CLAUS....YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!
Cute little story. One problem.....James Dean was a Quaker, not a Catholic.
to bdyftns: That's why the article said "minister", not "priest".
OK children it's time for bed now.
Wow !! Hey, Giant Fan, I'm right there with you. You are being undeservedly bashed by people that are obviously musically ignorant...Haven't any of you ever heard of The Eagles ??!!
"...too fast to live, too young to die,
Bye Bye...."
along came a spyder,
picked up a rider,
took him down the road to eternity,
james dean

A great song at that.
spyder?
And he made great oatmeal.
The Spyder refered to is a Fiat Spyder, which I believe is what James Dean was driving when he missed a curve.
a Porsche 550 Spyder. Not quite the same as Fiat Spider.
"...off the record until I die." Yeah, right. I believe that. Now that she and Dean are gone the statement cannot be refuted by anyone who really knows. Plus we are getting the news second or third hand. Everyone knows the high level of integrity that gossip journalists have. He kept it secret for 14 years. No way in (you know where).

People have been talking about James Deans sexual abuse as a child at the hand of his minister since the 60's. His minister "confessed" a sexual "relationship" with James Dean when James Dean was a child. Its backed up by many, and fits the unchanging profile of exploitation of children.
If you are you insinuating that Elizabeth Taylor lied about that, how sick you are.
I think the person is insinuating that the reporter made up the story, and Elizabeth Taylor is not here to refute it if it is false, not that she made it up.
I bought a book when I was a teenager that talked about this happening to him, not to big a secret:/....I'm a HUGE James Dean fan, well I wasn't born till 1973, but was always drawn to his work....anyhow, no this was NOT a secret, but a true and very sad fact!
