Kristen Bell Denies Getting Married After Calling Dax Shepard Her 'Husband'

Kristen Bell is denying that she married fiance Dax Shepard after she referred to him as her husband on Twitter.

On Wednesday night, Bell tweeted, "My adorable husband, @daxshepard1 voting 4 his favorite american idol. Over and over again."

Bell's rep told PEOPLE, however, that the couple were not married, and she has affectionately called Shepard her "husband" a few times in the past.

Bell and Shepard have been engaged for more than a year.

In August last year, Bell talked about her relationship with Shepard. "I never loved dating. I think it's very uncomfortable to put yourself out there and be vulnerable. I'm much more comfortable in a relationship, and I'm very happy."

Bell, who became famous after starring in the WB TV show 'Veronica Mars,' has said that she "absolutely would" pony up the funds to get the movie project of the show rolling but that her hands are tied because Warner Bros. owns the rights to the teen detective series.

Many women love to whine about how much they hate dating. Whatever. Perhaps if they spent a little more time looking around and being less impatient to get locked down they wouldn't invariably end up in so many abysmal relationships. Dating by its very nature simply tends to favor men over women for many reasons and I get that, but that doesn't excuse women from doing their due diligence before making poor choices that they'll likely regret far more than the men will if things go south as they eventually do in most cases.

Dax is a great acotr, in my own opinion.
Dax starred in the movie,' Lets Go To Prison.'
Also he was on the show 'My Name Is Earl.'
His girl friend seems to be confussed, unless they were married secretly.
