Lady Gaga Releases Country Version of 'Born This Way'

As Lady Gaga continues to put the finishing touches on her upcoming album, the pop singer gave fans a treat Thursday by releasing a country version of her hit song, 'Born This Way.'

Gaga made the unexpected announcement via Twitter, writing, "Surprise Monsters!: 'Born This Way' (The Country Road Version) will be released on Twitter tomorrow at 12am PST/3am EST 3/25."

The original version of the song, which was released in February, was an immediate hit, though Gaga has come under fire for its similarities to Madonna's 1989 hit 'Express Yourself.'

Gaga debuted her first live performance of the song at this year's Grammys, where she was carried down the red carpet in an egg, only to "hatch" on stage for her performance.

Throwing a harmonica into a song doesn't make it country. I like it better than the other version. Go GaGa Go! You were definitely born that way. I give it an 8. Not at the level of PokerFace or Just Dance but good enough to carry her.

I'd rather listen to this then country music, pure genius.I don't see anything wrong with what she's doing. If most country artist wanna sound like pop why can't she sing country, she sounds better then most country artists. Maybe she's trying to reach out to her gay country fan...lol
