The queen of talk has spoken: the final original episode of 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' will air Wednesday, May 25, the Associated Press reported. The talk show host's production company, Harpo Productions, confirmed the date Friday. No word on who her final guest will be.Though the show has been in reruns the past few weeks, Winfrey Tweeted on Thursday that she was "hard at work planning the final shows." She also said new episodes would begin airing April 7.
Winfrey shared her decision to end her show after 25 years with viewers last November. It was prayer and careful thought that helped her decide, she said. "I love this show. This show has been my life. And I know when it's time to say goodbye."
"Twenty-five years feels right in my bones and feels right in my spirit."
After her final show, Winfrey will turn her focus and attention to her new cable network, OWN (The Oprah Winfrey Network.)

I beat-out Oprah for hairest pits and she gets the headlines? Child, please!
One can only wish May 25 would be the last day America would be subjected to this cows constant preaching. Alas, her endless whining will live forever in reruns.

Don't know that I would use the same adjectives, but I do think there's a group that doesn't think the day is a loss without a dose of Oprah. I happen to belong to that group. She may be a good talk show host, but in my mind that's where it stops. There are many talk show hosts that do a good job, she's nothing special.
Thank God the Sermon is OVER...so overdone, overrated and overblown, much like her

You took the words out of my mouth! Finally: an end to the sanctimonious beat-ups and emotional exploitation! No more Oprah piously telling her sheep who to feel sorry or and who to ignore. No more glorifying in victimology. No more nauseating testimonies. Good riddance.

So the racist of today have to show their hate for another black person. What else is new? The same uncouth racist fools that's been around since the beginning of time.....evil and full of hate.
Good riddance!!!

But she'll be all over her new network, shouting her usual carnival-barker-with-Downs-Syndrome crap. Her latest coup on OWN was "The Gayle King Show" (big shock there!), with Gayle interviewing...Oprah. Hey, Op, how can we miss you when you won't go away?

If only it was permanent!

Petey, Oprah can be permanently gone. Just don't watch the OWN. So far there hasn't been anything on her network that has kept my interest.
YAWN. Hasn't she disappeared YET???

Oprah's "final year" has been a major disappointment - just like her OWN Network which has some of the worst programming I have ever seen. Except for an occasional movie, there is nothing worth watching. As far as her final year she had a few blockbuster shows, other than that, all we've had is repeats, repeats, repeats. She's not only tired of the show, she doesn't give a flying fig about her fans - the fans who made her!

So TRUE!!!
Thank God she will be gone. Years ago i enjoyed her show but when her one season got too preachy i lost interest. Some of her shows since then i have liked but now OWN can have her. People seem to treat her like she is some kind of deity for which she is not.

Are you really this freaking dumb? First, learn to spell and use grammar before you post any drivel like this. All of America is celebrating that this self centered, attention seeking, holy than thou cow is gone...This woman believes in nothing but herself. Stop playing the race card, ya porch monkey!!
