Is Carey Mulligan Dating Marcus Mumford?

It has been reported that Carey Mulligan has been quietly dating Marcus Mumford, lead singer of the British folk band Mumford and Sons.

The Daily Mail reports that the actress is supposedly "besotted" with the singer, and the couple enjoyed a romantic weekend together in Buckinghamshire, England, after spending last week together in the Orkney Islands in Scotland.

An insider is reported saying, "They've also been spending time at Marcus' London home in Shepherd's Bush."

The pair first got together last month in Nashville, Tenn., where Mumford invited Mulligan to watch him play at a show in his friend's house.

An insider is quoted saying, "She sat in the front row, and while he was singing, Marcus looked down at Carey, and she blushed. It was clear they had chemistry."

The pair were later seen having dinner at a restaurant, and while they were with friends, the two of them sat together and were seen acting like a couple.

"Carey's hoping they can spend more time together when Marcus flies back to America next month for a major tour with his band," an insider said. "He's hired a vintage train instead of a tour bus and has asked Carey to join him for the trip. It's early days, but they seem to enjoy each other's company."

Mulligan split from actor Shia LaBeouf in October last year, and she was rumored to be dating Tom Sturridge and later Eddie Redmayne.

Mumford split from his girlfriend, singer Laura Marling, last year.

I like M & S music, but I'm fearing the hype may get out of control. It was bad enough when they had a sort of coronation at the Grammies - too much, too soon. But, of course, if a rocker isn't dating a movie star now, he's doomed to be "boring".
