Mariah Carey Shares Baby Bump Photo on Twitter

Mariah Carey is sharing all of her excitement about her twins' upcoming birth with her Twitter followers.

"My attempt @ festiveness on 327! For ATLITL thank u + I♥U! Comin soon #dembabies! LYMA+thanx 4 making me happy:)," she wrote, proudly displaying a butterfly painted on her stomach.

The Grammy winner, 42, had a false alarm this weekend and sought medical attention, according to PEOPLE.

In the early morning hours of her March 27 birthday, Carey told her followers that the twins "really wanted 2 celebrate w/us/share the anniversary!" She added, "I started having contractions last night...went 2 the hospital."

Carey and husband Nick Cannon have relied on Twitter to communicate with fans about the singer's pregnancy.

Last week, Cannon, 30, shared his fears about the twins' upcoming delivery on Twitter.

"I am probably going to faint in the delivery room! I need to man up!" Cannon told his followers. "Or maybe I should say WOMAN UP, since they are the ones that have to be the strongest in the whole ordeal!"

Congratulations, Mariah and Nick!! I think you have given women who have decided to put off motherhood later than normal a lot of encouragement and that they too can be "older" moms. I think it is wonderful; and yes, your bump is big, but for TWO...what do you expect. I am sure you'll get in all together in due time. I pray that you have two healthy, beautiful babies!

bad taste to make a joke about a pregnant womans boobs. Mariah did this for her fans and no one else. a cellphone camera will do that too you. give the woma a break just hours before this her precious babies had almost arrived at 38 weeks with imature lungs so it was a way to take her mind off of that

Hope she has healthy babies,but I can't picture her as a mom.She's too stuck on herself.It will be 3 or 4 nannies doing all the work.She might smudge her make-up or break off a fake nail.(I don't look for replies,so don't waste your breath)
