What Ryan Phillippe Did While Reese Witherspoon Got Married

While ex-wife Reese Witherspoon tied the knot across town in an extravagant ceremony, Ryan Phillippe spent a casual day with girlfriend Amanda Seyfried, PEOPLE reports.

As Witherspoon and talent agent Jim Toth exchanged vows in Ojai, Calif., Phillippe and Seyfried were spotted at the famed San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, Calif. going for a jog with their dogs. The couple then dined at the Italian restaurant Piati and did some shopping in the gift section of the store Upstairs at Pierre LaFond.

Witherspoon's intimate wedding nuptials included her daughter and son with ex-husband Phillippe -- Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7 -- but Phillippe wasn't invited to the star-studded affair.

After their seven-year marriage ended in 2006, Witherspoon dated Jake Gyllenhaal for a couple of years. She began dating Toth in January of 2010 and the pair got engaged in December.

Phillippe and Seyfried met last year at Kate Hudson's annual Halloween party at her Pacific Palisades home. "They're really into each other," a source said about the 'MacGruber' actor and 'Letters to Juliet' actress to PEOPLE in January. "They're a really good match and just enjoying it all right now."

Maybe i'm not getting this big deal about whay Ryan was or is doing during the wedding of his ex, Reese. Like aren't they divorced? Why would he go and why the big concern about him going? Maybe they are still friends but...they are now exes not a couple.

I just can't understand someone getting married and only dating for a year. You truly don't have any idea how these people are.. All relationships are usually rosie the first year. Rushing into marriage, spells disaster. I'm not saying you have to date as long as I did, but I certainly wouldn't marry someone after dating one year...

Just because you dated for longer than a year doesn't mean that's the way it's supposed to be for everyone. Sometimes you just know. My husband and I dated less than a year before we were married, and are still just as in love as we were 15 years ago. Why judge people when you don't know anything about them?

Mt wife and I married 8 months after we met. We've been married 28 years and going strong. I know couples who dated 7 years and divorced soon after.

It states while Reese was getting married he is running around somewhere with Amanda Seyfried. Which is it??? Hello.....???

No, an ex does not belong at your wedding, unless specifically invited. Your life is moving on without the baggage of the past that dumped you, or vs. Why would I want my ex there? It's over, except for sharing any children until they are 18.
