Exclusive: Behind the Scenes of Willow Smith's '21st Century Girl' Video

In an AOL Music video premiere, Willow Smith takes us behind the scenes for the making of her sophomore video release, '21st Century Girl.'

In this exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, the super-confident starlet shows us how she put together her high-energy girl-power anthem.

The clip was directed by Rich Lee -- who has worked with superstars like the Black Eyed Peas and Eminem -- and features the creative input from mom Jada Pinkett-Smith. 10-year-old Willow and her fellow 21st-century divas create a cosmopolitan playground -- shot in downtown Los Angeles -- in the middle of a barren desert wasteland in this video about young ambitious girls thriving and the feminine powers of creation.

It seems like music; as I refer to it, is getting worse & worse. This kid has absolutely no talent & if it wasn't for her dad, she'd be standing in audition lines like everyone else. Sorrowfully, the audition process wouldn't work for her as she's absolutely talentless.
Parents must teach their children the value of music & NOT what kind of advertising is making or breaking these garbage entertainers.

She's a cute kid with a lot of talent. I'd like to see children not so fixated on adult fashion and intense somber adult entertainment; it diverts them from focusing on their academic development and other non-entertainment talents. What happened to light, happy music that reflects the calm peace of a 10 year-old child, like "It's a Small World?"

not usually a fan of kid stars, but I have to say, this kid is something really special...she's got more poise in her 10 years than most of these half-wit 20 something's out there making fools out of themselves. This is good parenting at work.

All I can say is WOW...I don't have anything nice to say, so I won't say it at all. Jada and Will have worked their butts off to get where they are..their son is a good child actor..not too wild about the daughter's music chops, but if that's what they want so be it..too bad their parents don't insist on them waiting and just be kids..they'll burn out just like every other child celeb..or in up dead or in rehab if they don't watch out for their kids
