Photos: Celebs Working Hard For Their Money

Some of Hollywood's finest returned to their workweek grind yesterday. From coast to coast, celebs were out in full force earning their keep. Although their days are undoubtedly long, spending a day on the beach with David Beckham somehow doesn't seem like work.

Last month we got a peek at Sofia Vergara in her new Diet Pepsi ad, and now the brunette beauty has teamed up with Beckham to film a commercial for the soft drink. Bystanders were in awe of the duo, who spent the day filming on a Santa Monica beach. Vergara sizzled in her sexy blue one-piece swimsuit and matching sun hat while Beckham had just about everyone swooning as he kicked around a soccer ball in his subtle, but undeniably sexy, white button-down. Anyone else thirsty? For a Diet Pepsi, of course!

These two weren't the only stars working hard for their money. Elijah Wood was on set of his new comedy series 'Wilfred' in Venice, Calif., with his co-star and 'Wilfred' creator, Jason Gann. Wood steered a tandem bike while Gann, dressed as Wilfred the dog, smoked a cigarette and manned the rear. The U.S. version of 'Wilfred,' which has been picked up by FX, is an adaptation of Gann's series of the same title that ran for two seasons in Australia.

Katharine McPhee hit the streets, and subways, of New York City to shoot scenes for the TV pilot 'Smash,' a show about the production of a Broadway musical. McPhee will play a struggling actress in the NBC pilot.

Dressed as one of New York City's finest, Leelee Sobieski shot scenes for the new series 'Rookies.' Sobieski's new cop drama is set to air on CBS.

Pretending and living in make believe does not constitute hard work. It would make more sense if "regular" people kept their hard earned dollars instead of throwing it away on people who do not improve anyone's quality of life.
