Zsa Zsa Gabor Rushed to Hospital, Was 'Hardly Breathing'

Zsa Zsa Gabor was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday after spitting up blood, TMZ.com reports. It's her second visit to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in the last five days.

Gabor's husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, told TMZ the actress could "hardly breathe" and that he's "really worried we may lose her this time."

"She is having difficulty breathing," her rep John Blanchette confirmed to RadarOnline.com.

Word of legendary actress and friend Elizabeth Taylor's death upset Gabor so much last week that she had to be hospitalized with high blood pressure. According to her publicist John Blanchette, Gabor, upon hearing the news on television, replied, "Oh, Jane Russell and Liz Taylor -- I'm next."

The 94-year-old Hungarian actress has been plagued with health problems for some time. She was rushed to the hospital with a blood clot late last year. Then, months later, a lesion from an infected bone forced doctors to amputate part of her right leg. In March, she was rushed to the hospital again when blood flow to her left leg stopped, but she refused a second surgery to amputate it.

Anhalt has previously said the actress is currently on medication but only has a "50-50 chance" of surviving the next year without surgery.

Gabor has been known for decades for pioneering the act of being "famous merely for being famous," as she's often described. Her best-known role was in 1952's 'Moulin Rouge.'

HEYES SHAME ON YOU. This woman is 94 years old and has been in ill health for years so how in the devil can you call her or anyone in her condition a drama queen. I hope you never have to go through what she has gone through or has been made to go through by a rather stupid husband. If G-d is kind he will let this lady leave this world and let her be done with her suffering.

At one time, maybe she was, but that's literally been decades ago. But she's 94 now. I think a 94 year old is entitled to worry about their own mortality, and even panic when she sees people YOUNGER then her that's she's known for a long time dying.

I really think they need to stop saving her and let her die. She's lived 94 long years, had a great life, and now she's suffering every time they bring her to the hospital and save her. They need to just let her die.

Poor Zsa, Zsa, how much she has suffered in the past couple of years. Only she and her husband have control on her mortality, and when she is ready, she will give the word to the doctors to stop treatment. At this point, with all her health problems, this would be a gift, but it is in her control, not ours. Hope that she won't suffer too much longer and will be at peace.

You could be mistaken when you say only she and her husband have control of her mortality. She needs to sign what is known as a living will and on it she will declare whether or not she will be resucuitated if she should require it. Her husband should have a copy of it at home... i am sure there is one knowing this wOman has A LOT OF MONEY BUT I AM SURE HE IS AFRAID TO LET HER DIE THERE WHEN SHE CANNOT BREATHE, hE NEEDS TO STOP DIALING 911 AND LET HER DIE AS SHE WISHES IF SHE HAS A DO NOT RESUCUTATE dnr ORDER..

I can only hope that when and if I am as old as her, I am in as good of shape as she has been.
For those of you who don't seem to be able to say anything good on this blog about the woman, I can only hope when it's your turn to meet your maker, you have people that respect you more than you have been respecting her. This only goes to show how ignorant you are.
