Elton John is set to pull off a double play this weekend, hosting and performing as musical guest on 'Saturday Night Live.' Sir Elton is the first guest in the 36th season to perform this feat.Although the episode promo with Jason Sudeikis [via Vulture] is shorter than the usual midweek clips hyping the upcoming show, there's some silliness going on and a goofy tribute to English comedy staple Benny Hill.
See Elton John's 'SNL' promo video here, and catch the episode on Saturday, April 2.

Zach...did you NOT know that Chris Gaines was really Garth Brooks?

Hi Kenny,
Good call. But Elton is the first host/performer for this season.
Cheers,
ZD
No thanks. Elton John is a bloated cow who makes me wish I was straight. Blech.

Zach,
Touche'...as always, it helps if I read ALL the words...I thought it said "...in 36 seasons..."
Sorry. Carry on.

I want Elton to put me over his knee and spank me!

Why, Jerry? Have you been a bad boy? Did you talk back? Do you want Sir Elton John to hold one hand over your mouth while he spanks you with the other since you were mouthy?
Jerry would probably be the first person to gay bash someone, but likes to post secret fantasies anonymously.
Although I wouldn't miss it, Elton is NOT the first person to host and be musical performer - once again an article is written by someone who has not done their homework (getting old, people).
