'Grey's Anatomy' is taking a page out of the 'Glee' handbook this week when it finally airs its first ever musical episode.Reportedly seven years in the making, 'Grey's Anatomy: The Music Event' will feature the entire cast, including special guest stars Kate Walsh, Rachael Taylor, Daniel Sunjata and Scott Foley singing musical numbers.
Among the songs used in the episode are the Fray's 'How to Save a Life,' 'Chasing Cars' by Snow Patrol, and 'The Story' by Brandi Carlile.
'Grey's Anatomy: The Music Event' centers around Dr. Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez) and the events that ensue after her tragic interaction with Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw).

It was ridiculous! It was like the rock opera "Tommy" meets "High School Musical" I didnt know whether to laugh or change the channels. I am a devoted Grey's fan, but this sucked

I agree with resada. It was so absurdly annoying that I wanted to turn the TV off many times during the episode. What were they thinking to spoil an interesting storyline with all that stupid singing?
