If you tuned in late to 'Fox & Friends,' you were probably wondering why Susan Lucci was making out with anchor Brian Kilmeade.
It was not love at first sight, and the studio was not on fire, trapping them with no hope of ever feeling the lips of another human being again. Lucci was simply demonstrating the "soap opera kiss."
Lucci has been the star of 'All My Children' since its debut in 1970, and in that time, she has done a lot of screen smooching. She was asked to demonstrate today with Kilmeade with only 30 seconds left to go on the show. Being a professional, she made it with time to spare. Watch the video below.
"First of all, there's a lot of eye contact, Brian," Lucci said.
She led him up to it and then said, "You can even go like this and hide it a little bit," and put her hand up so their mouths weren't visible to the audience, and then went at it, eventually falling to the curvy couch.
Which only lends credence to the idea that the news is a soap opera anyway.

It's not national news or any other kind of news. It's Faux News.
