Are 'Idol' Hopefuls Casey Abrams and Haley Reinhart a Couple?

It looks like there may be some romance brewing off-stage of 'American Idol.'

InTouch Weekly reports that an 'Idol' insider has revealed to them that contestants Casey Abrams and Haley Reinhart are quite the cozy couple behind the camera.

The insider is quoted saying, "Most of their downtime is spent together, and they have a very touchy-feely relationship."

The person continues, "They're always lying on each other when they're around the other contestants, and everybody thinks they're hooking up."

Last week, the 'Idol' judges shocked the world when they saved Abrams from elimination, and Jennifer Lopez dished to Ryan Seacrest about the decision.

"We knew that it was kind of a radical decision because it was so early in the season, but to be quite honest...that is one decision that I haven't lost one ounce of sleep over," Lopez revealed on Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show Wednesday morning.

On this week's elimination episode, we got to see just how much the save impacted Abrams.

Even after the show finished taping, Abrams was wobbly and struggling to come to terms with the gift he'd been given. So much so that at the urging of his doctor, he had to go and lie down for a bit.

When he finally reunited with the contestants, he told them, "I was ready to just be watching you guys at home."

As long there are no rules against it, so what if they hook up. If neither of them win AI, at least they might have a relationship after the season is over. That would make them both winners in love.

Yeah, If Haley is ugly then someone needs their eyes checked, but hey if Ted thinks she's fat and ugly then he more than likely has never been past first base, and wouldn't have a clue as to satisfy a woman.

I agree he always looks as though he didn't shower or wash his clothes and I think he is the least talented of the group!! Haley is not my favorite but she is too cute for him! She did well this week. Pia, Scotty, Lauren and James are the best in my humble opinion.

As a musician myself, I get tired of the same old thing. I want to hear someone with a unique sound. Both Haley and Casey offer that. While Paul also offers a unique sound, I personally feel his voice just isn't strong enough; he doesn't have the ability to belt a song out. Similarly, while Pia has good tone, a strong voice, and a decent range, she (so far) appears to be one-dimensional and doesn't have much of a stage presence.
Having said that, this is one of the strongest groups AI has seen to date IMO.

you are kidding??? blind?...Pia is wonderful and can sing anything..She is just starting and I believe she will win the whole thing...I do know that more girls vote so they usually vote for a guy...I would buy her CD more than anyone else's...Not everyone likes to watch jumping all over the stage,weird hairdos...or screaming ,scratchy voices

I agree that both Lauren and James are strong contenders. Personally I think anyone in that group has the ability to walk away with this.

Not to get off the subject of Ted, but I think she could do a lot better than Casey. He is fat and sloppy looking. He is a little better since he got the hair cut and timmed that discusting rat beard. Maybe if he finnished shaving it would help.

How insecure do you have to be, not to mention empty and lame a life you must have, to even spend time bashing these people based on appearance? This Ted guy is like a b*tchy 13 year old girl. In oh so many ways. I'm guessing Teddy's dance card is not full.

Ted is a non-issue. The fact is you have two very talented people who are taking in the moment and making the best of it. I'd like to see Lauren and Scotty hook up for more duets. They were also last night. I close my eyes and it's so easy to forget they're just kids.

it's just a thing....when idol is over so will it....young love...he is only 19...and she is cute....neither one is the best though but good singers.....

actually casey's last performance was not that great. People just voted for him in response to the judges(it happens every season)....and haley has a scratchy,growl type of voice ...I am not crazy about either one....james.pia,lauren,jacob should be last standing......

Ted....I think you need your eyes fixed, or you're just one of those types...

PIA is always great and lauren should go into country singing.Her duet with scott was good..she was better then him ,I think.....actually this whole group of kids is good.They will all do good.....
