After a disastrous start to his 'Violent Torpedo Of Truth, Defeat Is Not An Option' tour in Detroit and a slightly improved performance in Chicago, Charlie Sheen is looking to lash out and blame someone for his failure. This time it won't be ex-wife Denise Richards.
"Denise doesn't want to get dragged into any of this and has taken herself and her girls far away to the Bahamas on vacation," a friend of Charlie's tells me. "Whenever things go bad for Charlie he always lashes out at Denise. This time she took no chances and fled the country before he even stepped foot on stage."
At Sheen's first performance, on Saturday evening, the crowd was already restless, booing the opening comic off stage before Charlie appeared. Once the former 'Two and a Half Men' star appeared, his standing ovation quickly gave way to boos and attendees walking out and demanding refunds.
The new biggest fear for Team Sheen is that bad word of mouth will affect the already tepid ticket sales in the following cities.
"What will most likely happen is discounts will be offered to Ticketmaster's email list and bulk sales groups like Groupon," an A-list tour promoter tells me. "Groupon does mass email to their buyers in specific zip codes, offering deep discounts and taking a hefty percentage for providing the service. On most of these services, you don't know about it unless you previously bought something and are on their mass email list. In other words, you probably just couldn't go to the Ticketmaster website and find the discounted tickets."
But it's not just ticket sales that are a concern. Friends of Charlie's warn that the actor's ego will not tolerate half-empty houses and bad audience reaction for long.
"Charlie has a hard time when confronted with reality," a friend of the actor tells me. "He would rather cancel the whole tour and blame it on bad promoters than admit he's not winning."
Which means Denise might be able to cut her getaway short, too. She might want to stick in the Bahamas a bit longer, though -- if Charlie is anything, it's unpredictable.
My big advice to her is stay away from him... I also wouldn't go on tv talking about him right now. It's only going to fuel him up more. But I understand she does need to continue on with her life and she needs to work. I'm happy she found work, and is doing well there...
Good luck Denise. But stay clear of him and stop talking about him. I think this interview was fine but my advice is don't even go on tv anymore right now. People will see you in your new show and that's publicity enough.
I wish her luck and I admire how she's taking care of her kids!
Also, how any woman can be with him is unbelievable to me. Those so called "godesses," are BIMBOS! To all women out there--Stay away from this dude. he has no respect for you whatsoever. It will always be about Charlie, never you.
Normally, I am against taking children from their parents ... but in this case ... I applaude Denise Richards for getting her children far away from him. The way to defuse Charlie Sheen is to take him out of the limelight totally ... no more coverage on his activities ... radio, newspaper, magazines, television ... and if there are any "self promotional Charlie Sheen items ... refuse to waste money on them. Charlie Sheen is NOT worth the effort.
Charlie Sheen and Reality cannot, grammatically, be used in the same sentence. I don't remember the rule but the usage of both in the same sentence is paramount to a double negative or something.:-)
I agree - what a shame there are people out there who really only care about watching the destruction of a human being and therefore encourage him to march closer to his death and call it "entertainment". The truly humane thing to do would be to not buy his tickets, let him hit rock bottom and THEN maybe he will get some much needed help. Ah, but then we do love watching a car wreck don't we? So sad.
I'll tell you who goes to see him-the anti-society types. The types who are fascinated by automobile accidents, plane wrecks and violent encounters. People who think he is funny because he has no morals, no values and is self destructive. They are the sheep buying the tickets who don't realize they in fact are the sheep being sheered by a psycho.
If you were stupid enough to buy a ticket to 'watch the train wreck' YOU DESERVE TO LOOSE YOUR MONEY. CBS fired him because he is a talentless, raving, idiot now so by all means waste your money to a half empty theatre and a raving bore.

Hey "S", why don't YOU read a book? Looks like you're wasting some serious time clicking on meaningless drivel yourself (Tool).
