Kate Gosselin Worries About Having to Get a Real Job

TLC is offering up all new episodes of 'Kate Plus 8' starting tonight. And although the new season pulls out all the stops, including taking Kate Gosselin and her kids to Australia for the premiere, insiders tell me that everyone, especially Kate, is worried that she might not receive a warm welcome back.

"This season Kate has been told to bring her A-game," a TV producer tells me. "If her ratings drop to the 1 million mark this will be her last season, and then Kate would have to get a real job."

An insider assures me the new 'Kate Plus 8' episodes pack the goods: "You are going to see Kate spend another night camping, but this time without Sarah Palin. You will see her explore Sydney, meet with aboriginals and even swim with sharks in an attempt to win back viewers."

TLC gave the reality star a lucrative opportunity to have her own show after she and Jon called it quits. But despite the hype, Kate's spinoff, 'Kate Plus 8,' did not bring in the numbers TLC had hoped for.

The series debut brought in 3.4 million, but the second episode dropped 33 percent to 2.2 million viewers before stabilizing with around 1.6 million viewers per episode -- way below the staggering 10 million that tuned in for the infamous episode in which Jon and Kate finally announced their divorce.

Still, a source close to Kate tells me that TLC continues to have faith in the Gosselins. "TLC hadn't really done 'Kate Plus 8' in a series way until now -- it was just sporadic specials that people had trouble finding," my source says. "TLC does believe in her."

Looks like she is already dressing for her new job-working the streets-who wears that low cut top and shorts while walking her kids? Did ya notice in the picture-not ANY of her kids look remotely happy-none are smiling. Bet when those kids hit the teen years they'll be hell on wheels-I hope so. She has pimped them out for the dollar from day one-she's earned a little payback for robbing them of a normal childhood. Will not watch her show-can't stand her-be gone Kate-and take your litter with you.

All of the "critics" here need to walk a mile in her shoes. I mean really, give her a break - she's got a lot of responsibility and she is doing the best with what she's got to work with......be nice people!

No one here CAN walk a mile in her shoes, I doubt she can even walk a mile in those hooker shoes. lol Those are the kind of shoes you wear when clubing and trying to "getchya some" not the kind of shoes you wear when on an outing with 8 active young kids.

I just looked at the family picture again. There isn't s smile on not one of those children's faces. The clothes look like they came from a thrist store, but Kates shoes are the expensive ones. Could have gone to Payless Shoes, spent less money and paid more for the kids clothes. Kids are not happy. Sorry to see that. I missed hardly a show, but am thinking twice about the new ones. Likes the program better with Jon. The kids at least smiled.

Personally, I've enjoyed not seeing her in the news lately....she just needs to GO AWAY, PERMANENTLY. I have never watched her show nor will I ever. I hope your show gets canceled this season. You suck, Kate. You do not deserve to be in the spotlight, at all. Loser.

Considering the she garnered fame purely by producing 'units' out her vag how long did she expect her pitiful fame to last? Ask The Octomom just how much getting pregnant makes you famous...ANY woman can do it, it isn't as special as you wish it was, and when u have that many it's even more generic

I have also enjoyed not seeing Kate...It is way past time for the children to have their privacy back...Everyone should boycott the show and give these children a chance at a normal life or whatever normal is with Kate as their Mother...Two of the eight already ahve emotional problems lets hope the other 6 do not end up the same way...

Hmmm...get a real job...imagine that. Then she can live in reality like the rest of us. Yep, hard taking care of 8 kids I imagine...which is why I stopped at 2. Guess she should have thought about that huh?

Afraid you might have to get a real job! Whatever kate we shouldnt support you anyway your the RN who choose and did the research on births of multip. It is not like you didnt know what you where getting yourself into, you just want to sit on your high horse and think your better than the rest of use who do make a honest living yes I am a RN also... enjoy helping people not trying to look down on anyone I chose this skilled profession as you did... So I really don't have one ounce of sadness for you.

I don't care if you have Kate going to the moon, people have stopped watching her. They've stopped watching her because she exploits her kids and she's just not a nice person. I hope this season fails miserably and she has to get a "real" job. Her arrogance about her "stardom" is plain annoying.
