Kate Gosselin Worries About Having to Get a Real Job

TLC is offering up all new episodes of 'Kate Plus 8' starting tonight. And although the new season pulls out all the stops, including taking Kate Gosselin and her kids to Australia for the premiere, insiders tell me that everyone, especially Kate, is worried that she might not receive a warm welcome back.

"This season Kate has been told to bring her A-game," a TV producer tells me. "If her ratings drop to the 1 million mark this will be her last season, and then Kate would have to get a real job."

An insider assures me the new 'Kate Plus 8' episodes pack the goods: "You are going to see Kate spend another night camping, but this time without Sarah Palin. You will see her explore Sydney, meet with aboriginals and even swim with sharks in an attempt to win back viewers."

TLC gave the reality star a lucrative opportunity to have her own show after she and Jon called it quits. But despite the hype, Kate's spinoff, 'Kate Plus 8,' did not bring in the numbers TLC had hoped for.

The series debut brought in 3.4 million, but the second episode dropped 33 percent to 2.2 million viewers before stabilizing with around 1.6 million viewers per episode -- way below the staggering 10 million that tuned in for the infamous episode in which Jon and Kate finally announced their divorce.

Still, a source close to Kate tells me that TLC continues to have faith in the Gosselins. "TLC hadn't really done 'Kate Plus 8' in a series way until now -- it was just sporadic specials that people had trouble finding," my source says. "TLC does believe in her."

Why does she even have a show? Seriously? Who cares about Kate Gossling. She is just a money hungry idiot. No talent. Thinks she is something special. Just stay home and raise those kids like the rest of us. You had an interesting story at first, now you are so plastic. Those kids need a mother. I wouldn't waste a minute watching any show of yours. Loser. Go back to nursing and do something with your life.

Stop watching that fake blonde idiot. If we don't watch the show, then TLC may cancel the series, and the kids can have a normal life. She is so damn greedy that she doesn't care what impact it has had on her children. They look depressed all the time as well as angry.

She looks like a hooker with that outfit! Hey, maybe she can be a stripper at a biker bar or star in porn movies. Those are real jobs!

the reason her ratings are dropping is because the show is no longer "reality" based at all! camping with sarah palin, swimming with sharks, trips to wherever she wants to go???? how is THAT reality?? the whole thing that got people into it in the first place was that her and john were real people, a real couple, with the same kind of life we all have, only 8-fold, and they dealt with it. it would be much more "real" to watch a show about a single mother dealing with everyday issues and struggles, than to see a greedy fame hungry kate get pampered with trips to who knows where all the time...and with a sour-puss on her face to boot. spoiled momma, just like her spoiled kids....

Looking at the picture, the kids don't look happy. I tried to watch Kate Plus 8 but had to turn it off. Kate just screams too much. Whales breaching and she screams? I've always thought that she needed a "real" job, and to stay home and take care of the children. She needs a big reality check. No, won't be watching tonight!

Very tired of seeing her on. She was as much the problem as her husband JoHn. If I treated my husband like a dog the way Kate treated John I would expect my husband to leave me to.
