Charlie Sheen will not be returning to 'Two and a Half Men,' and any hope of finding a replacement for him is now over. The show is dead, leaving Jon Cryer and the rest of the cast and crew to start looking for other work."Jon is a very talented actor and couldn't have handled this incredibly challenging situation better," a TV insider tells me. "Any network or cable channel would be lucky to have him on their channel. Plus, let's be honest; the next project he does after 'Two and A Half Men' is going to get a lot of attention and publicity. What show wouldn't want that?"
After having fun on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' pretending to get his first job post-Charlie Sheen as Ellen's receptionist, Jon has finally landed his first opportunity in The New York Philharmonic's staging of 'Company,' where he will star as Neil Patrick Harris' pot-smoking best friend.

I don't want to sound mean, but all I can say is...the show is now over. With Sheen gone, and Cryer on his future endeavors, this could be the end of "Two and a Half Men."

This guy is a very credible actor. His next show will do well.
Hey Darin,
'this could be the end of "Two and a Half Men." '
Did you even read the article?
It stated specifically that the show was over.
You must be one of those anti-lectuals I've heard so much about.
They should continue looking for someone to replace Charlie Sheen. Why don't they get Arnold Schwarzenegger on that show. Make hime a long lost half brother from Germany. The kid on that show can call him Uncle Bob. He will play the opposite of Charlie Harper. For one thing he will play as a gay brother. He will cook and bake, but will smoke and drink. He'll be perfect. It would be hilarious to play a very softer side Arnold.

You'll do fine....................

If Michael J. Fox wasn't so sick, my thought is let him replace Sheen. It worked on Spin City...

Two and half men is OVER!!Noone can replace Charlie regardless
of how funny they may be!He is what made this show and without
him it is history! So get over it and move on, No more of the
Two and Half Men!

Oh please, Charlie is an actor, that had great writing. Even his peers must have not thought much of his acting, NEVER won an emmy or an oscar. Listen to his rants, that's the real Charlie Sheen, not two and a half men.
I absolutely agree that Two and a Half Men is over. The characted created by Sheen is unique to him and no one else is going to be acceptable in that role. There is also one other factor that may have caused the show to eventually wind down.....the role of Jake. The cute actor playing funny and gross Jake is outgrowing the role. What was funny in a young kid begins to pall as they grow into older teenagers. Anyway....it was fun while it lasted.
@junior...A lot of actors and actresses have never won a emmy or oscar but they still are great.
It's really too bad thata fine actor like Jon Cryer is victimized by one selfish, spoiled, narcississtic, mentally ill co-star.

Not just Jon...every other person involved in the show,
in front of the camera, and behind the scenes, was
victimized by drugie sociopath sheen.
He's a disease.
After working with a drunk coked out ***hole all these years Cryer shouldn't have any problem finding work.

Like I've said before, opening scene: Charlie's funeral. People stand around the casket taking accurate cheapshots about him. Parade past the coffin all the women he has wronged; they show up just to make sure he is dead. Ryan Stiles (Herb) moves in with Alan (and Jake) after Judith tosses aside yet another husband. (Let's face it: She's not nice to anyone, and they already showed the tension between the two of them) Everyone retains their jobs and crew and remaining cast end up WINNING! See? Simple.

Lita, I agree with you!!! (and Sue) They have a great star Ryan Stiles (Herb) ready to move in! What a concept! All of Judith's ex's.
the show could still go on. judith could divorce again, and both exes live together. judith's new ex gets the house and alan can live there. how many jokes about living in the house he paid for. and, who is the baby's father? two and 1/2 men, plus baby!!! i would watch.

The subject matter alone does not need to continue. I'm glad the show is history. A show that WAS truly meant for and watched by peanut heads.
