Angelina Jolie's New Tattoo Sparks Adoption Rumors

An additional line to an existing tattoo has sparked rumors that Angelina Jolie may be adopting another child.

Wonderwall is reporting that Jolie was on a goodwill trip to the Tunisia-Libya border recently where she was visiting with refugees, when a photograph showed a new set of map coordinates on her arm, just beneath the six tattoos of coordinates of the birthplaces of her six children.

The discovery of the new tattoo has rumors swirling that Jolie may be planning to adopt another child.

While the coordinates are difficult to make out in its entirety, the first part of the tattoo read '35 degrees north' which could possibly indicate Algeria.

But PEOPLE is reporting that a source close to Jolie has said not to read too much into her skin art.

Jolie has adopted three children, Maddox, 9, from Cambodia, Pax, 7, from Vietnam and Zahara, 6, from Ethiopia.

She also has three kids with her partner Brad Pitt; Shiloh, 4, born in Namibia and 2-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox, born in France.

You know that could of been 7 children from the usa that could have been adopted that need a home-- there is plenty of children right here in the good old USA that need a home she must think this makes her look good but in the end it will backfire--don't get me wrong it's nice that she gave these kids a home but why not help here first?

Have you ever tried to adopt a child in the US? I had a friend wait several years for a baby. Our adoption system has far too many loopholes and gives the biological parents the right to reclaim their child years after placement. No wonder people go to foreign countries - those adoptions almost never backfire. Change the system here and maybe we'd have less kids in foster care until they are practically adults.

It's probably because of the greedy people in the good old U.S.of A. You see, adopting here they run the risk of the birth parents finding out that a celeb has their child then sueing for the child back plus "damages". Who wants to set themselves up for that heartache? They don't have the money or resources to do that in undeveloped countries.

JOE LOMBARD. YOU are a MEAN person. Although you are entitled to your opinion, it is very mean to refer to children that have been given up for adoption as "throwaways". Very MEAN.

Yeah, It is easy to say that, but do you know how much harder it is to adopt in the U.S.??? Also, I am sure they adopt from orphans and mostly the children are there because their parents died...In the U.S. people just giveaway their babies and when find out their child is being adopted by celebrities....Well, I'm sure you know how greedy people are and how easy it is to get your kid back after giving it away...yeah, tooooo easy! People criticize the Jolie-Pitt crew for having to many kids and that they shouldn't adopt anymore...well, shame on you...If they have the means than they can adopt as many children as they want wherever they want!! Get over it! U.S., Russia, Africa, or Europe...kids are the same everywhere and need love to!

timetotalk: First: It's really none of your business why they do or do not adopt from the USA, but as stated on these boards - it could take a couple of years or more to go through a US adoption. They have the funds and the love to raise as many children as they'd like...and I'm sure they do a good job - despite what the rag papers might say. Second: I'm sure their grammar is a bit better than yours:
"...you know that could HAVE been..," "...children from the USA WHO could have been..""there ARE plenty of children...", "...that need a home. She must...", etc.

I couldn't have said it better and all JOLIE is about is attention. Both of them are IDIOTS. Money buys these children and money raises these kids with nannies. Real parents don't buy children like things!!!!

I don't think it's awful of her and Brad to adopt children from other countries. Every child in this country at least gets an education and other needs taken care of. That may not be so true in poorer countries for orphans.
