LeAnn Rimes Fires Back at Reports Claiming She Is Too Thin

LeAnn Rimes fired back at reports claiming the singer looked too thin after an appearance at a NCAA basketball game.

Photos of a thin and gaunt Rimes surfaced online when she sang the national anthem at the NCAA National Championship in Houston on Monday night and the speculation was that the singer had lost too much weight as she prepared for her upcoming marriage to actor Eddie Cibrian.

RadarOnline.com is reporting that the country singer took to Twitter to quell the rumors, "Dear lord! I do not workout too much nor do I starve myself. I'm so over this and moving on"

Rimes, 28, did however respond to fans who voiced their concern and thanked them for caring and to her detractors she tweeted, "To those who have to turn to other's lives and judge with no real knowledge of how anyone lives, you can you know what!"

This is not the first time Rimes had to defend her appearance, last month when pictures of the actress looking thin had initially surfaced, the actress took to Twitter to say, "Maybe it's time for a nude pic so peeps can see how I look nowhere near what these stupid pics are trying to make me look like, LOL #joke."

She continued, "I don't care about the dumb articles. I know how healthy I am. Maybe those people should start taking care of themselves... inside and out."

Maybe she has one of those fun house mirrors in her home, that distort her image, and make her look like she is overweight.
She needs to get a better mirror.

Not to worry I have been thin my whole life and as long as you are healthy , everyone else is probably jealous. Just as it is hard for overweight people to loose weight, believe me it is just as hard to gain.

I agree!! People tell me I'm too skinny all the time, but I don't work out (or rarely so) and eat pretty much whatever I want - have never dieted in my life. Why can't people just accept that everyone is different and that there all shapes and sizes, none of which are "wrong"? I think too many people are either overweight or have weight issues these days and forget that some people are just naturally thin. So what? I don't have a problem getting dates, plenty of people are attracted to thin, just as plenty are attracted to big.

I agree! At 5'7", I've spent my entire life trying to GAIN!!! only to be told I'm anorexic by anyone who doesn't know me and my eating habits. The only time I gained any weight was when I was pregnant, so at least I'm at a "healthier" weight than I was in HS, but seriously, people...Ms.Rimes is blessed with a naturally thin body style. Her "curves" as some state were actually extra fat for her. She's back to her normal, natural weight. Sometimes, skinny just has to be enough!

OOO Please!! Rimes looked healthy at 120 something lbs. She chose to diet or barely eat and NOW look at her. Sorry dont blame it on she cant gain or she is petite, She WAS at a healthy weight BUT she chose to push her plate away. NOT healthy or SEXY!

let me admit that i am no prize myself. i just wonder who is telling her she looks good. she used to be a well built women with pretty legs. she never has been much to look at always looked sad all the time. she looks like she is sick. i don't know any man that likes women that look like this. i hope she gets this turned around. she doesn't look good. her husband to be can't like this there is nothing there.

Idk who told her she could sing, either. I heard her yrs ago - sounded like a dolphin being tortured. Maybe her voice changed since then?

She looks great to me! People have different tastes. My wife is 5'10" and weighs 125 lbs. People say she's skinny, but she eats plenty and she doesn't exercise excessively. I've never heard anyone say she's too skinny. I think LeAnn looks healthy. There are way too many overweight and obese people in this country.

M, you don't know what your talking about she was stuck up when she was 15! Walking around Nashville with an entourage, thinking she is all important and treating store clerks and waitresses/waitress like crap! And yes Leann, you are way too skinny, you can tell because that head looks like a bobble head doll, not that those weird eyes help much. When your elbows and knees look like big knots in the middle of twigs, its usually a good indication!
