LeAnn Rimes Fires Back at Reports Claiming She Is Too Thin

LeAnn Rimes fired back at reports claiming the singer looked too thin after an appearance at a NCAA basketball game.

Photos of a thin and gaunt Rimes surfaced online when she sang the national anthem at the NCAA National Championship in Houston on Monday night and the speculation was that the singer had lost too much weight as she prepared for her upcoming marriage to actor Eddie Cibrian.

RadarOnline.com is reporting that the country singer took to Twitter to quell the rumors, "Dear lord! I do not workout too much nor do I starve myself. I'm so over this and moving on"

Rimes, 28, did however respond to fans who voiced their concern and thanked them for caring and to her detractors she tweeted, "To those who have to turn to other's lives and judge with no real knowledge of how anyone lives, you can you know what!"

This is not the first time Rimes had to defend her appearance, last month when pictures of the actress looking thin had initially surfaced, the actress took to Twitter to say, "Maybe it's time for a nude pic so peeps can see how I look nowhere near what these stupid pics are trying to make me look like, LOL #joke."

She continued, "I don't care about the dumb articles. I know how healthy I am. Maybe those people should start taking care of themselves... inside and out."

She is homely whether is is skinny or fat.....but if she didn't have the money she has Eddie would not have anything to do with her....this isn't going to last long and can't wait to see what happens when it all falls apart!!!!!

If she didn't display herself half-nude, her gauntness wouldn't be so obvious. So I guess she likes the way she looks and doesn't realize how extremely thin she is.

My daughter suffered with anorexia; we almost lost her. Trust me: LeeAnne is in the 2/3rd stage. She needs counselling that involves her, her parents, and her siblings. She needs a network of support from those who love her unconditionally. There is a lot bottled up inside her - whatever it is - feelings of guilt, sense of worthlessness. She will tell you she's fine. She's not. Get to the bottom of this - now!

So do you tell every tall, thin woman that they must be in the "2/3" stage of anorexia? (BTW, what is 2/3 of a stage of anorexia? Should that read 2nd or 3rd stage?) How presumptuous are you? For one thing, she has NOT ONE symptom that I can see in a photo. No sunken eyes, no sunken features at all, no bags, and she can actually support herself on heels! No true anorexic looks anywhere NEAR healthy, yet Ms. Rimes, myself, and SEVERAL other women (some who've even posted here) are continually chided about our "eating disorders". How about you walk a mile in our shoes?

LeAnn, don't hate it that you are too thin. Hate it that it makes the media. I hate that I have to read this, and then bash media for even printing it. Too thin, or too fat, that's the world for you. We know more about your skinny butt, than we do about how families are coping with the Earthquake and Tsunami.

When the biggest fattest part of your body is the knee-cap that's a problem! She is a homewrecking troll which deserves her slightly better looking troll prize of a future husband. I liked her until she pulled that crap. Hurt alot of people including children to get what she wanted. Hope Karma gets her back for that!

Can this idiot get anymore rude and crude. Wish she would go away and never be heard from again. She has such a bad attitude and has wronged so many people that I'm surprised she is still around in the business. One of these days someone will tell her to go jump in the lake and hopefully she will do it. Yes, her voice is very good but that's about it. The rest is awful and she needs to treat people especially her fans better. I'm not a fan of this idiot because of her not so nice ways.

There's way too much criticism in this world - mostly from people who have no room to criticize! I like women with meat on their bones but if skinny ones feel healthy and want to be that thin, go for it. It's individual choice, not a vote! Besides, the year-round ranting about red carpet this, fashion that and looks, looks, looks would drive anyone crazy. You critics do not override the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights - we ALL have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Go pursue YOUR personal happiness and leave Lee Ann alone!

She does look awfully "angular" in her muscle structures, which makes her look strangely coutoured, I think. But it's her life and her health. Since she puts herself "in the headlines" so to speak, she has to endure, or ignore the publics opinions. She gets paid well to do so.

It's the face that I worried about< you have to lose a LOT of fat to sink in your face like that! Not good for a woman of child bearing years.
