The lawyer for Dr. Conrad Murray, the man accused of administering the drugs that killed Michael Jackson, is claiming that his client is an innocent man.The AP reports that Murray's lawyer, Edward Chernoff, is arguing that it was Jackson himself and not Murray that ended the King of Pop's life.
In a pre-trial hearing, Chernoff put forth the theory that Jackson was so distraught over his declining empire and deep debt that he took his own life, and asked for access to Jackson's financial records to gather proof.

Micheal Jackson was getting ready to embark on a huge tour wasn't he? Money wouldn't have been a problem for him .... If anything he would have made more than ever .... I doubt he took his own life...

Nice try by Murray's lawyer, but no one is stupid enough to believe that crap.
Murray should fry.
Oh, piffle. 50 dates? In his condition? Personally, I think he was afraid to fail in the public spotlight and went out on his own terms.
Next they'll say Quaid was right, it was star wackers.
Murray should ride the lightning.
Michael was not a stupid man, he knew all the drugs he was taking could cause death. He is just as much to blame for his own death as any of the Doctors he bought

Homicide translates death by another. Never knew doctors 4 sale. If so, quack's azz should b locked up 4 selling himself.
yes mem he is to blame along with other people Dr Murray wasn!t the only one who was the giver of drugs well never know the truth,I believe that he was not ready for the tour no mater what any one said

U R A jerk. Idiot. Do us a favor. Ram a blanket down throat. Or wrap self within, and find endless stairwell to roll. Jackazz.
Durrr okay he was getting ready to retart his career. he was happy, actively laughing on a regular basis, and he would have never left those children behind. So one douchehat lawyer poses some ridiculous theory and it's a headline. i wish i could vomit.

I am so tired of hearing how none of these doctors today are to blame for prescribing/administering drugs to people. That is one the biggest problems we have in this world today. Not holding people accountable for their actions. MJ had a problem and everyone knew it. So why not hold the doctor that give him the drug that killed him accountable. If you had a loved one that was a known addict and a doctor, someone who is sworn to help people, gave that loved drugs knowing they were an addict and that loved one died, would you not hold that doctor accountable. Dr. Murray is to blame for his actions and should be held accountable for them, no matter who his patient is.

I agree with u 100% ....
I dont believe for one minute he would kill himself, when he had children that he loved. The doctor should have never even had that drug.

plain and simple: who has access to the stupid drugs?
It is sad that MJ's life ended the way it did. But, when are we going to finally hold MJ accountable for taking the drugs? He knew what he was doing. Wasn't the first time he had addiction problems. Sorry this will piss people off, but it is true. I loved MJ's music. I grew up listening and always enjoying it. Tragic. Don't think the Dr. should go up for murder. Selling drugs, yes. Murder, No. Stars will always, always get thier drugs.

Yes, but the doctors and people giving these addicts access to the drugs should be held accountable. You can't say they are innocent of giving illegal drugs just because the other person is an addict. The addict might pay with his life like MJ did, but the doctor in this case needs to be held accountable for his role. He wasn't even monitoring his patient properly.
Michael "paid" his doctors to give him what he craved!
Suicide? Perhaps with the aid of the suicide doctor...!!!?

thank you!!! ultimately, the dr is responsible to the death of MJ 'coz no one can get this drug without a dr's prescription and he did write the prescription for him (or carrying the drug in his stash!!!)
