Lindsay Lohan in Talks to Play Victoria Gotti

Lindsay Lohan's association with crime isn't quite over yet.

The troubled star is in "final talks" to play Victoria Gotti in 'Gotti: Three Generations,' the upcoming biopic about Victoria's mafioso father, John, TMZ reports.

If finalized, Lohan would join John Travolta, who has signed on to play John Gotti. Rumors have also been swirling that Kim Kardashian recently met with executive producers to discuss playing John's daughter-in-law, Kim Gotti.

With a budget of $75 million, producer Marc Fiore has said the film is "going to be the new 'Godfather.'" Reports say more casting details about 'Gotti: Three Generations' will be revealed in a news conference in New York City on April 12.

If cast, 'Gotti' would be Lohan's first role since completing a rehab stint at the Betty Ford Center.

Most recently, the actress was reportedly set to audition for a role in the new 'Superman' movie. However, filming for 'Superman' is scheduled to begin in this August, making it difficult for Lohan to ensure her availability.

Her trial on charges of grand theft begins later this month, and if convicted, she may be spending the summer behind bars.

"If Lindsay is found guilty of grand theft, she would inevitably be serving jail time, which almost certainly would coincide with the production schedule," said a source close to the film.

Some how I don't think this is true. She is in talks to be in 3 different movies. Smells like momma Dina has a hand in this. Go to jail Lindsay so we don't have to hear about you anymore.

She couldn't get hired as a clerk at Victoria's Secret let alone play Victoria Gotti. They at least need an actress with range for that...and a squirt gun has more range than Sticky Fingers Lohan.

Agree, Mary. She's supposedly in talks to play Sharon Tate, to play Victoria Gotti and to play a role in Superman movie. Sounds like a lot of wishful thinking on behalf of LiLo and Dina. They have a press release a day, just to keep the little darling out in public. She'll be VERY public when she goes to prison for theft. If LiLo valued her career, she'd have not done any of the things she's done. She's a goner.
