Taylor Swift Goes on Date With 'Country Strong' Hunk

Taylor Swift had a low-key dinner date with 'Country Strong' actor and singer Garrett Hedlund in Nashville, TN, last week.

UsMagazine.com is quoting a source who said, "It was their first time going out. They've been emailing for a while, and she hinted they should get together."

Hedlund, 26, was in Nashville recording an album and the insider reported that Swift, 21, was excited to meet the up and coming movie star.

The insider said, "She [Swift] has actually spent time getting to know Garrett. He's cute -- and he's into country music! [She] likes that he's a normal guy."

This was one of the few times Swift was seen on a date after her breakup with actor Jake Gyllenhaal last year.

Last month, Swift was seen at a Los Angeles Kings game with 'Glee' heartthrob Chord Overstreet sparking rumors that the two might be a couple.
