Neil Patrick Harris' Partner to Talk Sex Life on New Show

Buzz is building for 'Foursome,' a sex-themed talk show set to air on E! and co-starring David Burtka, the partner of 'How I Met Your Mother' star
Neil Patrick Harris.
"It's bound to be the hottest, hippest show on E! since 'Chelsea Lately,'" one insider who has seen the pilot tells me.
What will make it so hot is the fact that Burtka, along with ex-'American Idol' singer Kimberly Caldwell and two others, will be talking frankly about their own sex lives. This won't be 'Loveline,' folks.
"I have quite a past," David told
TV Guide last month. "I have lots of stories to talk about."
But David also made it pretty clear that Neil has nothing to worry about since he'll mainly be talking about his pre-Doogie lovers.
Neil also told TV Guide that since the arrival of their 5-month-old twins Gideon and Harper, there hasn't been much going on in their bed but sleep anyway.
My source who has seen the show says, "David is so good, it's not going to be too long until Neil is know as his husband rather than the other way around!"

He should shut up. I don't care about his or anybody elses sex life. TMI

Can we say GROSS? Is there ANYTHING these people won't do for pulicity? Trust me it will get boring (as they are) all too soon.

That's all we need - more crap on TV. Sex is a private thing and I find it in very poor taste when people discuss their sex lives in public, let along alone on TV - Pathetic!!!

Let the prudishness begin.
I tip my hat to PopEater for being so quick to delete the homophobic remarks. If you're too uptight about sex altogether that is one thing, but to post hateful remarks purely to say racist or homophobic things, that makes you more of a problem than this show.
I agree this show sounds vapid and therefore another ding in the dumbing down of America (along with not-so-Intelligent Design and a disdain for science). But I wouldn't tell them to "Shut up!" or call it gross. That's pure childishness.
There is a little button on your remote that says Power on/off. If you can't find anything to your liking besides all those overweight, sweaty evangelists with bad hair and cheap suits, you can always turn off the set and read your Bible.
Amen to John T. We are WAY to sexually repressed as a nation. Sex is great and we should celebrate it. Everyone does it. everyone thinks about it. so why is talking about it so gross and private?
he's cute. i'd like to hear his story. but it is tacky for any parent to be on the show.

Sex lives are private no matter who you are.

Sex between two consenting adults is not perverted, you hypocrite. You know your mind is dirty, you just refuse to admit it because your 2000 year old book written by bronze age morons told you it's unclean.

The problem is that they are exploiting their past and present partners for a TV show??? Gay or straight or whatever, sex should be kept between partners and not aired for everyone's "entertainment". How would you feel if your partner aired all your sexual liasons on TV? Personally I would feel betrayed and used. Whenever you had sex you would wonder if it was just so he had more material for the show. The other problem is that they are helping to perpetuate the opinion that homosexuals are in your face about sex.....this show won't help your cause guys! You're just proving people's concerns about shoving your lifestyle down our throats is a valid one. Whatever, if people want to watch this crap that's their choice, but I would rather live my own life than sit around listening to someone else's stories (and I mean that as in you know they are going to embellish the truth for effect).
Perriwinkle, I didn't give my opinion of the show in that reply (which is a negative opinion for the record), so your reply is wholly stupid, made up and way off base.
I have a feeling you walk the planet feeling stupid quite a bit. This should be no exception.
Is the television industry out of ideas for new shows? And we would watch this ...why?

Mike....you're disgusting. You sound a tad insecure about your manhood there.
I have to laugh....The guys I work with all they talk about is 2 girls going at it and whe the subject about guys is ....GROSS !! I have to laugh how hypocritical.. Guys talking about their sex life is fine sex is sex and love is love. I guess if it was a show about playmates banging everything under the sun it would be fine.......
EWWWWW! Do we really need to listen to his stories? Some things should be left unsaid and that involves ANYONE with intimate details.

I doubt anyone is going to duct tape you to a chair and sew your eyes open, so no, you don't need to listen or watch. I can't really see the entertainment value in hearing about others sex lifes, but, to each their own. I'll be tuned into something else.
John T., I am not a prude ... just have a weak stomach ... couldn't deal w/hearing a discussion of such gross proportions..
