President Obama had to show his Birth Cert to more important people than you and I, to be President you have to be confirmed to have been born in this country.

I think as President Obama said on day one, this countrys problems will be no quick fix. Maybe the republicans should get out their magic wand.

Everyone born in the usa has a State issued with the certificate number birth certificate. What I am understanding is that bo showed a hospital certificate which could be forged quite easily.
The state registry has a page number & a certified seal on it. I have both but only had what the hospital issued for many years until I realized it was NOT an official BC, then I paid to have my home state look it up and issue a certified copy to me with the state seal. Obama could ask Hawaii to issue his if he was truly born there then just show the dam thing but I feel he thinks he is too good and above it all to do just that. I do remember his tribal grandma in Kenya stating he was born there and she witnessed it, that was in the newspapers 2 yrs ago.

I'm white, likely old enough to be your grandmother and I know Mr. Trump. I know him because I live in New York and I know him because I have been at dinner parties seated near him and forced to listen politely to his "often wrong, never in doubt" blather. Thirty years ago, at one such event, I recall Mr. Trump announcing that he should be President becauase he was smarter than anyone else. I remained focused on not snorted the food I have just eaten or laughing out loud -and keeping a pleasant smile on my face.
Of course Mr. Trump's most recent "statements" are mainly about Trump and his overblown ego (everything in his life is!) but it is also about the race and background of the President-who is American born, professes the Christian faith and on the personal side seems to have managed two things that have eluded Mr. Trump: multiple (and ugly) divorces and personal bankruptcies.
As an American I take this incessant smear campaign (and its particularly ugly overtones) against the President of the United States very seriously. This is destructive to our country and debases our finest American values.

I have always considered Mr. Trump to be a rather foolish man with too many personal issues to count or care about but with his most recent statements he has crossed the line into something ugly and I'll say it-racist.

If you and other readers of these posts are new to the real Donald Trump, you might want to learn something more about him before deciding that he has anything important to say about anything other than being a professional celebrity and real estate man who inheriterd the business from his mother and father, the late Fred and Mary Trump.
