John Legend Tells Donald Trump to Quit 'Saying That Racist Bulls**t' About Barack Obama

John Legend isn't happy with Donald Trump. But it's not so much The Donald's supposed ambitions to run for president in 2012 that have upset the Grammy-winning pianist; it's Trump's insistence on questioning Barack Obama's nationality.

"He needs to stop saying that racist bulls**t birther s**t," Legend told told Vulture last night in New York City. "Quote me please. He should be ashamed of himself. It's awful, really."

Trump recently said on 'Good Morning America' that Obama's purportedly cloudy childhood fills him with doubt. "You may go back and interview people from my kindergarten," Trump said. "They'll remember me. Nobody comes forward [for Obama]. Nobody knows who he is until later in his life. It's very strange. The whole thing is very strange."

Legend isn't the first star upset with Trump this week; Bill Cosby got riled up on the 'Today' show on Thursday when asked about Trump's presidential ambitions, saying "the only thing he's running is his mouth."

"Oh, please, with Donald Trump," said an exasperated Cosby. "Take him home with you. He's full of it."

I have several times in the past had to show my birth certificate. No big deal. Especially when you are going to run for President again- silence critics once and forever. I still believe that George Bush very seldom showed up for National Guard duties. I was in the Guard for 10 yrs and still remember my friends I served with. None came forward in his case. I don`t have much repect for Donald- I believe he used the system for filing for bankruptsy twice. Would he do the same if he was the President? The point about Obama and Bush- show proof and silence the critics.

For pete's sake cut the racist bull****. everytime someone says something against this president it is called racism. that card has been played so much that it no longer means anything. this president is terrible he has done nothing to make this country any better, the economy is still lousy and we are in worse shape than when he was elected. i don't care what color the guy is, he is a terrible president and never should have been elected. he has no clue what is going on and he and his wife need to go back to chicago and organize their neighborhoods.

Everyone born in the usa has a State issued with the certificate number birth certificate. What I am understanding is that bo showed a hospital certificate which could be forged quite easily.
The state registry has a page number & a certified seal on it. I have both but only had what the hospital issued for many years until I realized it was NOT an official BC, then I paid to have my home state look it up and issue a certified copy to me with the state seal. Obama could ask Hawaii to issue his if he was truly born there then just show the dam thing but I feel he thinks he is too good and above it all to do just that. I do remember his tribal grandma in Kenya stating he was born there and she witnessed it, that was in the newspapers 2 yrs ago.

Actually, it?s all very simple: Obama, The President of The USA need only hold a special short TV spot where he stands before the American people and say: LET'S DO THIS AND MOVE ON! HE DISPLAYS HIS ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND VERIFIES HIS CITIZENSHIP DUE TO THE FACT OF SO MUCH "CONTROVERSY". I believe this would be a good thing to do and put a stop to the on-going mystery and debates. The President should do this and get it behind him and stop wasting so much time and space on this issue. Otherwise, this doubt will remain in the nation's thoughts! MR. PRESIDENT, CLEAR IT UP!

First of all, who the heck is John Legend? Hitless wonder. Secondly, why does every black person get offended and claim racism when ever barrack Obama is criticized? Get over it! You go Trump! You got my vote. Obama is merely all talk and no action . We have given him 2 1/2 years already and he still continues to blame bush. 2012 couldn't get here soon enough.
