Dina Manzo, 'Real Housewives of NJ' Alum, Gets Her Own Show

Dina Manzo, formerly of Bravo's 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey,' will soon star in her own show: a new party-planning series on HGTV.

The series is titled 'Dina's Party,' according to Extra, which has obtained images of Manzo and crew at work on the new show. Giving viewers a peek inside Manzo's event-planning company, Design Affairs, each episode will focus on a different festive occasion executed by Manzo and her team.

"Dina is an accomplished interior designer and also runs a thriving event planning business," Kathleen Finch, general manager of HGTV, said. "Her 'Real Housewives' fans will be very surprised to see this side of her. Dina brings a unique set of skills to HGTV."

Manzo left 'Real Housewives of NJ' in the beginning of season 2 after an ongoing conflict with fellow castmate Danielle Staub.

Before her exit, Manzo revealed in an interview that her dust-ups with Staub were a breaking point in terms of her staying on the show.

"For me knowing how hard I work ... For [Danielle] to make a mockery of [a fundraiser] was extra upsetting as a cast member, you know, to be part of the show, to see her do that," she said. "It was really the last straw for me."

There goes HGTV which has been going down the sewer last few years so I have stopped watching. There is nothing "Garden" in HGTV. The only shows you can watch our houses being torn down and new houses constructed with ridiculous styles. The economy is still coughing and sputtering and we are supposed to feel good with shows like Selling NY and other worthless shows mostly produced in Canada. Now they have hired another dimwit from a reality TV show. Guess this network like Bravo thinks reality TV people are stars. LOL But as the saying goes ... stupid is as stupid does. One stupid network following another stupid network.

America has had enough but as many intelligent Americans that have had enough, there are just as many brainless morons who thrive on watching this garbage. its sad as H to see how america has declined as a nation. Remember the days when quality was on tv? I love Lucy, Audrey Hepburn, Bob Hope, Great shows, great stars. Now america thrives on having idiots entertain with fights, drinking and bad behavior. Im a liberal dont get me wrong, I dont condem anyone that has a few drinks or does what they want, I do that! but i dont want it for my entertainment on television from idiots who have no talent!

Dina put herself a step above the others when she walked away from the show. She recognized the fact that the drama with Danielle would have an adverse affect on her family and business so she did the intelligent thing and walked away. Of course she probably already had this deal in the works when she walked but it was still the right thing to do. And in her defense folks...you know these sites aren't going to pick the most flattering picture they can get their hands on. There are a lot of shows on each and every channel that everyone can do without. I, for one, feels that there should be sports only channels and sports shouldn't be allowed on any other channel.

I dont' think it was the drama after the fact that made her walk away from it...I think it was the fact that her loud mouth pushy back stabbling two faced controlling sister who started it all and kept it going on that was the reason she walked away from this show.

Ok, what's with the photo of Dina? She looks like a grown reject from " Toddlers to Tiara's" She isn't 10 anymore. It's really scary.

It was a bad day for her at the "Baby Beauty" pagenat.
