Dina Manzo, formerly of Bravo's 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey,' will soon star in her own show: a new party-planning series on HGTV.The series is titled 'Dina's Party,' according to Extra, which has obtained images of Manzo and crew at work on the new show. Giving viewers a peek inside Manzo's event-planning company, Design Affairs, each episode will focus on a different festive occasion executed by Manzo and her team.
"Dina is an accomplished interior designer and also runs a thriving event planning business," Kathleen Finch, general manager of HGTV, said. "Her 'Real Housewives' fans will be very surprised to see this side of her. Dina brings a unique set of skills to HGTV."
Manzo left 'Real Housewives of NJ' in the beginning of season 2 after an ongoing conflict with fellow castmate Danielle Staub.

This will be the 3rd time she is on a "reality" show. Her 1st foray was on Platinum Weddings on WE. It followed her through her wedding planning to her husband & how she waited 10 yrs to snag this guy. Desparate Housewife is more like it.

I think it's great..and for all you naysayers; don't watch!

HGTV is making a BIG mistake bringing this mess to their lineup.

The Real Housewife's really aren't real housewife's. I am a housewife/mom and I don't have maids or nannies. I do the house work myself while I take care of my son. I don't have money to just blow on make up, clothes, spas, hairdos, etc. That show is a disgrace to TRUE housewife's!!!!

I am really surprised that HGTV is hosting this show. REALLY? Where is the taste? I am sure that the parties planned by Dina are not something the everyday person can do on a budget. So it is just voyerism. Watching how the folks with too much cash and no manners live and party. Id rather watch DIY network.

Did some one say Mafia Wives?

Congrats Dina. I'm happy for her. She's doing something that she loves and has experience in. Good for her. Make that paper girl. She made a good decision in leaving that show.

yeah I love Dina and it must really go up the biotch behind......can't wait

Here it is in a nutshell: an idiot to star in her own idiot show for a select few idiots to find entertaining.

Am very surprised about this. Dina lacks the personality to carry a show. Who's going to be on the show with her? Danielle Staub? Am not interested in a Dina show. The Jersey Wives are too over-the top & seem to be, I'll say "somewhat" lawbreakers in nature. You reach the point when enough is enough! Dina stay home! Bravo? Give us a break.

absolutly tired of all reality TV as it is scripted and false more than 1/2 the time. On shows like survivor, just the fact that they vote some one off the show is a fake Methode of real survival. Thats political and not survival for real.

Anyone with half a brain does not watch this type of trash TV, but unfortunatley these shows get ratings from the brain dead, so they will continue to aire them and advertisers will continue to spend money on mindless drivel. They don't call the TV and idiot box for nothing.

OH NO - it just doesn't stop. who did she pay off

I think she was smart not to stay on RHONJ,why Bravo took a nice Italian family and threw in that raunchy Danielle is awful to make them have to be in the same room with such trash.I will watch her show, she put her family first !!

oh f.ck now we have to deal with that biatch and her fricken cat again. She needs to realise she's a NOBODY and we won't watch. Shame on you HGTV. I'll boycott ALL your shows from now on, realise that these biatches are just that, BIATCHES no talend involved here, they'll sell their arse if it puts their face on TV.

I think Dina's show is a great idea. Especially if she is doing charity events to help them raise funds. I am the director of an animal shelter in New Jersey. we are trying to raise funds to open a low cost spay/neuter and vaccination clinic. We have an event in June. I would love it if I didn't have to be the event coordinator because I am not a professional. Can't wait to see the show. Hoping to learn from it.

You would think that a family inspired network like HGTV would not want this kind of publicity. I would love to see more gardening shows on HGTV. I can't imagine that Dina Manzo could add anything to their programming. Very disappointing, HGTV.
