'Sister Wives' Polygamist Kody Brown Expecting a Baby With Fourth Wife Robyn

When proud polygamist Kody Brown, of the TLC reality series 'Sister Wives,' married his fourth wife back in May, both newlyweds had their hands full: Kody, 43, was already the father of 13 children with his first three wives, while Robyn, 31, was a single mother of three.

Now, news is breaking this weekend that a 17th child is on the way. That's right, Robyn (pictured at far right) is expecting her first baby with Kody.

"You should have seen the look on his face when we found out," Robyn told People.com. "It was priceless."

"I'm overjoyed," declares Kody about the pregnancy. "This connects Robyn and I together in a way that nobody can take away."

The newest addition to the brood is due in October 2011. During the first season, Robyn was a "fiance" just getting to know Kody and the "sister wives," and she married into the polygamist family when she exchanged vows with Kody in May 2010.

The fundamentalist Mormon family is now living together in Las Vegas, where they moved from Utah earlier this year. When 'Sister Wives' first aired on TLC, an investigation got underway putting the Browns at risk of federal bigamy charges (none were brought, according to Meri -- Kody's first, and only legal, wife).

Of relocating his large family to Las Vegas, Kody has said, "We've met a lot of really tolerant, open-minded people that have been friendly to us and just said, 'Welcome to Vegas.' They've literally said, 'We like having you here.'"

As Robyn looks forward to delivering the baby this fall, she hopes her perfect scenario comes to pass. "If Kody had things his way, he'd have me go to the hospital," she says. "But I just like having home births. I'm not big into sitting around in a hospital."

Surprise surprise. It is not for me to judge anyone's lifestyle but I polygamy is really disgusting. Where is he getting the money to support all the wives and children?

They support themselves by working jobs. There are many men who father children with different women everywhere, and that is legal. But if he calls it marriage to more than one it is illegal? If they all know about each other, are legal age, and are financially stable why do we care?

All these women have chosen this lifestyle and it works for them. God Bless and congratulations on the future new addition.
It is unfortunate but polygamy like this may have to be the way to go if we keep getting involved in wars and the population of eligible bachelors dwindle. Unless there is some kind of forced marriage or abuse involved, I don't see anything wrong with it.

You should realize that, most likely, a guy who fathers children with several women is a parasite on the taxpayer.
Again, these women are probably at the bottom of our society and they and their bastard children will be supported by the tax payer "(wellfare)"
Relocating this john + wife + bastard children to Utah would be the best solution. An alternative is to castrate this john so that he cannot do more damage to our society.

I personally haven't known a woman in my life that would live like this .....where does he find them?????I just think something happened in their life when they were young to make them feel that a man is king....lololololololololololo....hell no.......They don't think they should be able to have other men...That is just BS...I have been married for a many decades...and if mine would want another....so would I.....

Correction. The wives (plural) don't work. Mare was fired, Christine never worked. She was the stay-at-home parent. Robyn moved to Utah with her 3 children and never found employment. The house Robyn stayed in was a rental so those expenses had to be paid. The only 2 that worked were Kody and Janelle and since they've moved to Vegas, they now have no jobs, except the show. This will not last forever.

Arrested for what? he's only leagally marries to one woman. His other weddings were performed in the eyes of the Lord not the eyes of the state. Basically he is only living a life style. One can have as many roommates as one chooses. One can have as many children with as many people as one chooses. No law is being broke. I think probably everyone who watches this show is just a little bit jealous of Kody's life style. It's interesting and out of the 'Norm'. But can you imagine how stressful it is for him. Im sure there are times he wonders what he got himself into.

How are they paying bill? Very easy... TLC reality show...Thay just moved to Las Vegas and I am sure it is a bigger house than the old one...TLC made them rich or moverd them on higher level...

Lilly- They now have 4 homes in Vegas, not one big home. Whatever TLC is paying them cannot be enough to support 4 wives, 16 children, 5 cars, 4 rental homes, pay utilities for each home and take care of their children's education and health care. Give me a break.

How utterly disgusting, how do they all keep from getting veneral diseases....don't say they use condoms....the last younger wife is pregnant....duh!!!!! It seems to me he wants to have his cake & eat it too. They all have to be morons, yes morons, not Mormons to approve of this unsanitary disgusting lifestyles. Their children will probably have tons of mental problems having to explain this and deal with this. The novelty will wear off when disgusting Kody sets his eyes on another woman to have sex with...they are all simpletons & pure trash!!!!
