Britney Spears Versus Britney Spears in Dance Off

Remember when Britney Spears used to appear on stage in nude bodysuits or wearing a snake and barely anything else while dancing her butt off?

Times have certainly changed.

Pop Dust compiled shots of Spears dancing in her pre-head-shaving heyday to now -- and the results are remarkable.

While her current attempts to move on stage are nowhere near as disastrous as they were at the 2007 VMAs, it's clear that Britney has lost a step or two (or eight). Watch It:

Correct Jean Rose! What an appalling thing that sad girl is. No voice, no talent, no presence, no maternal insticts. What a sad excuse for a singer she is, squealing and squaking on a stage as she twists herself to the noise of idiotic "songs."

For those of you who think Britney is just getting older and also has had 2 kids, Janet Jackson is 15 years older than Britney - granted she hasn't had 2 kids - but the age thing is ridiculous.

She's not one of my favorites, for sure, but she's not talentless. I agree you have a severe form of jealousy. It's possible to dislike someone's "art" without a personal disdain for a person--a person you don't even know.

I mean, I don't care for her voice, but she DOES have presence. Of course she has.

I think her dancing problems is a hips issue, by the way. She had babies, but that doesn't mean she can't get her mojo back. Strengthen the core and her legs.

Her restricted range in her leg motion also makes her look like she had knee problems, but that's pure guessing.

I wish her the best, though I likely won't be listening.

I NEVER THOUGHT THAT SHE COULD SING VERY WELL BUT SHE WAS A GOOD ENTERTAINER. SHE HAD GREAT MOVES. GIVE HER A BREAK. SHE'S GETTING OLDER AND PROBABLY TIRED OF THIS GIG AND JUST CAN'T GET OUT OF HER CONTRACTS. I THINK SHE HAS DONE WELL WITH BEING WATCHED UNDER A MICROSCOPE ALL THIS TIME.

Agreed, she seems medicated. She seems stiff and nervous to me. I don't see any reason for any one to be hating on the girl. What did she do to you? How can you hate someone you don't even know? Any way, I wish her the best. It is NOT her age, geez peeps, she is not that old. I also don't think having 2 kids did it either. Something is going on with her. My vote, Meds, probably for depression if I had to venture a guess. I hope she gets thru whatever, and gets back to her old self again. Give her a break, love not hate.

Let's also factor in the two kids... not as much practice time... age... and it's different kind of music

I am one of Britney's biggest fans and I can certainly see the difference between then and now but there are also factors you have to take into consideration. She is not the same person that she was back then!

I think she is doing just fine! :)
