'Jersey Shore' Stars Get Six-Figure Payday

The stars of MTV's 'Jersey Shore' are toasting their glasses of Ron Ron Juice to some very good news these days: a huge pay raise. The "core group" of the eight-member cast will reportedly receive at least $100,000 per episode for Season 4, according to
Entertainment Weekly.
Yes, you read that right -- $100,000 per episode. And, in case you were wondering, each season of the hit show is about 13 episodes.
Nicole
"Snooki"
Polizzi, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Mike
"The Situation" Sorrentino and Paul "
Pauly D" Delvecchio were reportedly holding up contract negotiations for the next season, which led to a
delay in their scheduled Italian trip. The group was reportedly asking for more money, and now they have it in the form of a six-figure paycheck per episode.
This isn't the first time members of the 'Jersey Shore' have asked for more money to film the show. Last summer, the cast went
on strike in order to rake in more cash.
The new raise for the "core group" is a big one, too. The cast reportedly made $10,000 per episode for Season 2, and around $30,000 per episode for Season 3.
And while the $100,000 per episode paycheck is certainly a lot of dough, it's nothing compared to the stars' annual income from club appearances and endorsements. It's been reported that The Situation's annual income is around the $5 million range.
Not too shabby for a group of hard-partying Jersey Shore kids, huh?

Unbelievable! It really is true-America loves trash. College educated people struggle to earn this much, but these brain dead illiterate morons make this for one show. We really do have our priorities all screwed up.I love this , So does My boyfriend .he is almost 11year older than me .i met him via agegapsin gles.c'om a nice place for seeking age le ss love.which gives you a chance to make your life better and open opportunities for you to meet the attractive young girls and treat you like a king. Maybe you wanna check it out or tell your friends.. Just love it
I agree.........give a bunch of "CRACKHEADS" a six figure salary...I wonder where they'll spend it? Beer, drugs, tattoos, etc. There are families out there with HARD WORKING people, struggling to get by, and they give these FREAKS all that money.......What a waste....
I don't begrudge anyone for making money, actors 20 million for a film, good for them, some guy can throw a football for 10 or 12 million no problem. I, however, do not understand the draw of "Jersey Shore"? Or for that matter any of the reality shows. Looking in on peoples lives is not that interesting, it is kind of creepy.

What makes an actor worth 20 million per film or a football player worth 12 million? A good agent gets them that rate but you and I end up paying ridiculous ticket prices to make up for their ridiculous salaries. It's ludicrous to think that someone is worth that amount of money for the work they turn in and the amount of time they spend doing it. As for these Jersey Snores, the fact that they are even given TV time is a sad, sad reflection on our society and where it places its values as it slowly deteriorates.
lol who watches these idiots if i want to watch idiots id visit my own family

I am from the Jersey Shore. I moved to PA 11 years ago to get away from those type of people. My friends who still live there told me "worse than ever".
our beach front town is full of want to be like them fans.

NUMBERS = PAYDAY. IF THE SHOW GENERATES LARGE VIEWING NUMBERS THE STARS GET MORE MONEY, MAKES SENSE.

People are dumb
Good Luck to them. I hope that they save their money, because in
Show Business it can all end quite quickly. I do not understand
the attraction of the show but maybe it is a reflection of some parts of our Society that we never consider. C'est La Vie !

America loves rewarding stupidity and sleaze. What a disgrace.

Only in America do we make millionaires out of idiots and ignorance.

I thought the whole point of "reality" shows was to save money. If a network can afford to pay someone 100k per episode, it should go to talented actors for scripted shows, not these no talent fools.

People are tuning in to see the same crap over and over and over again! Picking up bar flies every weekend and bringing them home to sleep with, drinking unitl you vomit, fist fighting in the house....them being hung over and lazy not wanting to work...house mates hooking up....I mean...its really gotten ridiculous. And then they make it look like they are giving public annoncements to society about abuse in realationships, etc. Tell me this crap isn't staged! I can tell you I've had enough and won't be watching season 4!

All that money won't scrub off AIDS or an STD that they will probably catch if they don't already have it.
