Michael Lohan was reportedly banging on Lindsay's front door before sneaking around back to peak into her windows. The troubled starlet was inside her apartment, trying to lie low, while her father attempted to break-in.

But Lohan did not call the police -- and we don't blame her. We're sure she's had her fill of the men and women in blue. Plus who knows what they might find if the po-po is given a free pass to enter Lohan's home.
