Is 'Idol' Castoff Pia Toscano Dating 'Dancing' Pro Mark Ballas?

It looks like romance is in the air between 'American Idol's' Pia Toscano and 'Dancing with the Stars' pro Mark Ballas.

TMZ is reporting that the Toscano and Ballas were seen on a dinner date at Gulfstream restaurant in Los Angeles on Friday, a day after the singer's surprise elimination from the competition.

PEOPLE is quoting a source who said that it was Toscano who "had a crush" on Ballas and she was positively "giddy" when she found out that 'Idol' and 'Dancing' were filming on adjacent soundstages at the CBS lot in Los Angeles.

It was fellow 'DWTS' contestant Chris Jericho who helped Toscano get a date with Ballas. The wrestler and 'Idol' castoff had mutual friends and it was through Jericho that she managed to exchange phone numbers with the dancing pro.

The source also says that the couple had "a great first date" and are planning to go out again.

And there seems to be more good news for Toscano as she reportedly signed a record deal with Interscope Records who are keen to see the 'Idol' favorite "record an album ASAP."

When anyone refers to Americans as stupid, it is time for that person to move on to another country with people he/she will have respect for. Pia is very talented, and I wish her the best. As an American, I believe we should all be kind to each other, and not make hateful remarks about our country or citizens.

Pia has a beautiful voice, and I too was shocked that she was voted off American Idol. Message to Will: If you believe Americans are stupid, I suggest you find a country that you respect, and move there. We Americans do not need people with your bad attitude living here.

She's a voteoff. In any case, whenever someone uses the phrase "rich and famous" I wonder why they still think like the 1950's. Most of the "famous" people today aren't actually rich and there a far more really rich people no one has even heard of. Some past Idol winners and contestants are making a living, but rich??? Doing better than Walmart does not make some one rich.

She was the best out of all the girls. Claasy consistent and always sang the right songs. Huge mistake that Hailey should have been off a long time ago its all about the ratings. Hailey was never consistence and never sure of herself. She sucked!!!

Louis must be tone deaf. I'm no teeny bopper and have performed all my life, fronting a band and doing solo work. Stefano has the best male voice on the show BY FAR. And he's definitely better than the previous two Idol winners. Talent is so subjective based on our likes and dislikes of musical style and what we feel is 'cool'. Idol and it's fans seem to think that screaming and wailing is what makes a person talented. Anyone can do that. Jacob, Paul and Casey should be the next three to go. Listen more closely and you'll understand.

This girl is pretty and has a nice voice, however she does not have a lot of personality and that is why she did not have enough votes to stay on the show. This is crazy that she is now going to have a music contract already. That should have waited until the winner of this season's AI is announced. Someone is really jumping the gun on this girl. Remember how Allison Iraheta in season 7 was going to be a big music star? Well her CDs did not sell. Talent is not enough now a days, there has to be some charisma and sorry but I don't think this girl has that special something.

They are pushing her out there NOW because she still is in the public eye. It is a good business move...she will do OK. If James or Scotty go, they will also have careers. Scotty will make it because he is a country singer and country fans are dedicated .

I thought Pia should have been eliminated along time ago. She used her looks to get as far as she did.
