A Very Belated Second Date for Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Aniston?

Are Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Aniston secretly dating again?

A source tells PEOPLE that the pair, who went out on a date in 2009, have been in touch recently. "In the past few weeks, they have stayed in contact," the insider said.

"Jen always had a soft spot for Bradley, and she thinks he is very attractive and charming," the source added.

Cooper just split from girlfriend Renee Zellweger, whom he began dating shortly after being seen with Aniston.

Nearly two years ago, in May of 2009, there were rumors that Cooper and Aniston were an item, but the 'Hangover' star denied them. "I met her three times in my life," he told PEOPLE at the time. "My mom loves it, but unfortunately it's not true."

Then in June of 2009, Bradley and Jen were seen at dinner in New York City. Photogs even caught a pic of the two together on their night out. (They dined at Italian eatery Il Cantinori.)

A source commented of the situation then to PEOPLE: "It was a date. She is taking it slow. She is obviously looking for love, but is not about to rush into anything."

But later, Cooper would explain to the magazine that it was just a friendly meal. "She's a friend of mine. Simply, simply, just a friend."

The actor, who will next be seen in 'The Hangover Part II,' divorced wife Jennifer Esposito in 2007 and the actress, of course, split from husband Brad Pitt in 2005.

Will this be Brad(ley) and Jen, part deux?

Jen Aniston will go down in the Guiness Book of World Records as the gal who snagged the most guys. (but alas, couldn't keep them.) what gives Jen?

I think Jennifer should just admit she couldn't get this one -- I mean, look at how long he was with Renee Zellwenger. They were a real item. Now, he's doing the transition and using her....again. I hope they're just friends and there's nothing there and never has been because this woman is rich, somewhat beautiful, and I am actually feeling very sorry for her. Could the divorce have affected her self-esteem? She really needs to just get a good guy and settle down. I mean, I get it that after Brad who is there. Well, there are some pretty hot men out there. Sometimes one needs to look beyond actors at other artists in other countries. She's playing out here in the States.

Anniston is SOOOO yesterday. Why would ANYONE care who she's dating?

She's a self-centered "ME ME ME ME ME!!!" sort of person who has publicly admitted she would never date a "regular" guy.

The woman needs SERIOUS psychological help.

You know, men know she is still in love with Brad, folks. This is why Jen h as been unable to move on. It's all so pitiful I find..And if she is not still in love with Brad then that's good! BUt what's the girls problem? She can't seem to make it stick with anyone.

I was on team Jen's side, but for the last couple of years, I'm beginning to believe something is very wrong with this young lady. She seems to be hiding so much unhappiness evrytime I see her on tv interviewed.. I don't know--just a feeling I get.

Something's wrong. Jennifer can be married any time she wants folks. Either she doesn't want another guy, or the guy senses something... So something's up here. Bradley ain't gonna marry her either I bet.

There is something wrong with her! I never like her from the beginning of "Friends". The trues role she ever played to herself was in "The Good Girl" Selfish, self centered and untrustworthy.

Who cares. These hollywood types are idiots anyway. Ever listen to these people talk when there's no script? They stumble on their words, and just stare with a grin on their face. They live in their own little bubble where everything revolves around them. It's amazing they get paid millions to do what they do. Anyone can memorize lines and then repeat them on camera. Try kicking in a door and hunting someone that is trying to kill you. There's a real job.
