A Very Belated Second Date for Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Aniston?

Are Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Aniston secretly dating again?

A source tells PEOPLE that the pair, who went out on a date in 2009, have been in touch recently. "In the past few weeks, they have stayed in contact," the insider said.

"Jen always had a soft spot for Bradley, and she thinks he is very attractive and charming," the source added.

Cooper just split from girlfriend Renee Zellweger, whom he began dating shortly after being seen with Aniston.

Nearly two years ago, in May of 2009, there were rumors that Cooper and Aniston were an item, but the 'Hangover' star denied them. "I met her three times in my life," he told PEOPLE at the time. "My mom loves it, but unfortunately it's not true."

Then in June of 2009, Bradley and Jen were seen at dinner in New York City. Photogs even caught a pic of the two together on their night out. (They dined at Italian eatery Il Cantinori.)

A source commented of the situation then to PEOPLE: "It was a date. She is taking it slow. She is obviously looking for love, but is not about to rush into anything."

But later, Cooper would explain to the magazine that it was just a friendly meal. "She's a friend of mine. Simply, simply, just a friend."

The actor, who will next be seen in 'The Hangover Part II,' divorced wife Jennifer Esposito in 2007 and the actress, of course, split from husband Brad Pitt in 2005.

Will this be Brad(ley) and Jen, part deux?

Jennifer appears to be happy with her life, including being single. (Not everyone needs someone to latch onto.) I don't understand why people say nasty things about her. It is her life and she's not hurting anyone......so.....be happy.

I think she should date someone OUTSIDE of the business, but you see, I believe she doesn;t want that....She's looking for a "Bard" all over again and her men sense this....

I don;t know..juts bored with Jen at this point. Do something jen. CHANGE something...Itw as recently reported she cut her hair..lol. Um, maybe just a little, with a few layers or something? Still looks basically the same... She needs to change also her neediness for men it seems. I believe hse is definitly looking for love but how long has it been now?

Michele Bachman should leave Planed Parenthood alone, this is needed SO very badly. I have known in my long life 3 girls (at seperate times) sho either was raped by their father, and the other by a stranger. Now the father thing is totaly disgusting he should have been put in jail, but that was their business, but who wants to bring that child in full term?? Such a sin there, and then the rape victom, why should she have her life ruined by being forced to bring that child to full term?? And all she could think of is the rape when she thinks of the child, she'd hate it..and what if that child finds out it was a rape baby, now there's a good start for the mental well being of a kid, even when their a teen who would want to know that's how they got here?? This is why I'm all for "abortion", it's not just at a wim that women have this done, there is a real mental health need for it.

Seems to me that Jennifer and Sandra Bullock are both the same...everything they do, every move they make is to further their press and their careers. Their careers are first and foremost and that's fine but you get to the point where you doubt everything they do. Is it all just for show?

I am so tired of hearing about Jennifer. She falls in love like you take off your underwear. Find someone and get on with it. She was married to a man who I thought they were both perfect with one another. She's the one that wasn't ready to settle down and have children. She wanted to hang out with girlfriends and party, now she's left with no body or leftovers. She needs to find a man maybe that is not an actor, change what she's doing because whatever she's doing, it's not working for her at all!
