A Very Belated Second Date for Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Aniston?

Are Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Aniston secretly dating again?

A source tells PEOPLE that the pair, who went out on a date in 2009, have been in touch recently. "In the past few weeks, they have stayed in contact," the insider said.

"Jen always had a soft spot for Bradley, and she thinks he is very attractive and charming," the source added.

Cooper just split from girlfriend Renee Zellweger, whom he began dating shortly after being seen with Aniston.

Nearly two years ago, in May of 2009, there were rumors that Cooper and Aniston were an item, but the 'Hangover' star denied them. "I met her three times in my life," he told PEOPLE at the time. "My mom loves it, but unfortunately it's not true."

Then in June of 2009, Bradley and Jen were seen at dinner in New York City. Photogs even caught a pic of the two together on their night out. (They dined at Italian eatery Il Cantinori.)

A source commented of the situation then to PEOPLE: "It was a date. She is taking it slow. She is obviously looking for love, but is not about to rush into anything."

But later, Cooper would explain to the magazine that it was just a friendly meal. "She's a friend of mine. Simply, simply, just a friend."

The actor, who will next be seen in 'The Hangover Part II,' divorced wife Jennifer Esposito in 2007 and the actress, of course, split from husband Brad Pitt in 2005.

Will this be Brad(ley) and Jen, part deux?

I feel like a teenager whose reading about a boring 40 something chic who I thought was off the wire 13 years ago. If time has stood still, when she and Brad called it quits. She had a hit TV show with 5 other noname actors back in the day and hasn't done anything of conseqence since. The read goes on to amaze us that Ms Aniston will be voluntarily taking herself off our radar for the next year and we should care why? I guess we'll just have to bare up not seeing her strutting her old self at all those red carpet awards events for other movie nominee's.

I feel that Jen has slept with more than she should have, that's why she doesn't have a mate. Each one she got involved with all got married just about. What happened to the new guy that she's suppose to be dating? He was involved with someone else before Jen came along. Did she run him off also, or did he do a wham bam thank you mam act and run high for the hills?

Cathy, you must be a looser, because your responding to the people who are blogging. Jen sure doesn't need you to defend her,, she's a grown woman, plenty of money and I am quite sure she can defend herself. You better worry about whose going to defind you! ha ha ha My kids are grown, and I'm still living my life. Your life is what you make of it, and all have to answer to only God, and not to anyone else. I am not jealous of anyone, and I sure would not want to be in anyone's shoes. Jen may seem like she has it all, and inside actually knows how she feels about herself. That doesn't stop people from talking. That's the good thing about living here, we can talk about anyone we want. It's not against the law to voice our opinion! If you don't like it, move out of the United States! LOL

Really like Jennifer's new look-totally matured as a woman sans the preppy look and her eyes reflect a wiser more in depth personna and since the movie switch she has evolved into someone that can be thought of as sincere and honest. She looks approachable, with an every day woman style. Down to earth yet still exudes self-respect. She is a star and I believe with the right movie role she still has the potential to surprise us all as a superstar actress.Bradley, Hadley, Smadley. My prediction is she will marry a non-actor nobody. Her superficiality has worn off.
