We've been waiting for it since Hugh Hefner tweeted that Karina Smirnoff would grace the cover of Playboy -- and here it is.

The 'Dancing With the Stars' professional, who is paired with favorite Ralph Maccio this year, tells the magazine, "As a dancer I've always embraced my body. I'm thrilled to show off my strong, toned physique in the pages of Playboy and celebrate my sexiness."

"To me, sexy is the confident energy a person produces. Sexy is the comfortable feeling of being who you are. Sexy is not just having beautiful lips, legs and arms; it's beyond that. Sexy is soul," she adds.

Smirnoff goes nude inside the pages of Playboy, which of course we can't show you. (Even the cover was a little too racy for our family-friendly pages -- notice our censorship.)

Insiders suggested that posing naked could land the dancer in hot water with the hit reality series -- but so far there have been no consequences.

This isn't the first time Karina has posed naked. She also did a PETA ad in the buff.

You want to put a bag over a womens face while enjoying her body.
There's a strong violence against female tendency going on there.
Might want to look into getting some theraphy.

I now have a whole different opinion of Karina.....I liked her before she posed for Playboy, but now, my image of her is tarnished. Sorry Karina...you screwed up by posing.

I don't know why she'd lose her job over this. If I am correct several former, and one current contestant, posed for playboy and / or were also part of Hefner's dating pool. Other contestants have also included one who was all over the net videotaped in drunken binges, one who was a former admitted drug abuser and one who did time in prison. If the network fires her over this than shame on them since they hold their dancers to a different standard than their contestants.

This stopped being a 'family show' a long time ago! Kendra with two sex tapes out there, Kim Kardasian,Holly Madison, (another Playboy 'star'),etc. If they don't let the show die off gracefully, they should at least move it to 10PM and use the 8PM and 9PM time slot for something families can watch together. I don't mind explaining to my kids who a wrestler or a football player is, or even a used-to-be TV star or movie star, but I have a real problem justifying WHY Kendra and some of these others are popular.

Why could Karina, posing nude in Playboy, jeopardize her job on DWTS? WTF?? Brooke (co-host) posed nude in Playboy, so did Kendra, Pamela, and many others who have appeared on DWTS. This contraversy is just another way to give attention to the magazine and ABC.
