From throwing parking tickets at traffic cops to having a thing for taxidermy art, there's a lot we don't know about the doe-eyed and seemingly sweet, Amanda Seyfried.Seyfried's most recent purchase? A pony. Except while most girls like their horses alive and kicking, Seyfried prefers hers stuffed.
"I love good taxidermy, it's like art," Seyfried told the Daily Express (via E! Online). "A lot of people think it's weird but I don't know why."
While overseas for her London premiere of 'Red Riding Hood,' Seyfried picked up a little souvenir. A taxidermy miniature horse, named Antoine, that died at three weeks old.

my question is, did this animal die of natural causes, or was it killed while it was still small so it would be more appealing to buyers? (tiny=cute) that has me very suspicious!

People are very naive with the taxidermy industry. No, the horse was not killed. The horse DIED. And for those that hunt, all you are seeing in modern taxidermy is the pelt on a carved core. The meat is eaten. In fact, I even have some roadkill that was amazingly intact and took it to a taxidermist.
um-were you the owner of this animal or something? case otherwise you have no idea wether it was killed or it died of natural causes! dont spout stuff you dont know jack about as facts!
The horse thing seems morbid. How sad that it died at only 3 weeks old. I wouldn't want a constant reminder of something so sad.

Pretty sad gift for her dog! And pretty sad way for the mini to end up too. I'd never do it anyway.
