Charlie Sheen's Ex, Brooke Mueller, Tries to Pawn Jewelry

Just when we all thought the Charlie Sheen saga couldn't get more bizarre, the actor's estranged wife, Brooke Mueller, has upped the ante.

Mueller, the mother of Sheen's twin boys, Max and Bob, has been caught on camera trying to pawn a pricey watch and stereo equipment at an Inglewood, Calif. pawn shop in a desperate attempt to get some quick cash.

The 33-year-old actress, who checked into rehab for alleged drug and alcohol abuse issues in 2010, has reportedly been exhibiting behavior that has caused concern among her inner circle.

"Brooke seems depressed," Mueller's friend tells RadarOnline.com. "We're worried for her safety."

Some are concerned that Mueller is using drugs again because of her alleged calls to friends for clean urine and her recent cash concerns, despite the hefty $55,000 she receives from Sheen each month.

Mueller has reportedly been scrambling to get back into showbiz after her scenes were cut from the upcoming Paris Hilton reality show on which she was scheduled to appear.

TMZ reports that Mueller's young sons, who were placed in her custody after being removed from Sheen's house by police, are now being cared for by her mother.

Why hasn't children's services taken those kids away yet? Neither one deserves to raise them...give them to Denise. If this was any other family those kids would have been taken a long time ago...ridiculous

I'd like to think that Brooke is just trying to erase any and all memories of Charlie Sheen by pawning off her jewelry, and NOT using drugs again.

When I am wrong, I admit it. Denise Richards I owe you an apology. Good job straightening up and turning your life around. Charlie and Brooke need to call Denise and ask her to keep their sons while they both go into some serious rehab. They might miss the next year of the boy's lives, but at least they will be there for them when they are clean and sober, and it will take a year for them to be truly clean and sober. At this point, Denise is the only person who knows how to be a parent.
