'Scream 4' comes out today and since it's been over a decade since the last installment, our pals at Moviefone decided to put together an awesome video refresher course of all the death scenes in the first three movies.

The 'Scream' movies were the first of their kind, breaking all the rules by brilliantly revealing them to the audience.

The rules for surviving a horror movie include:

1. Never run up the stairs when being chased by a knife wielding psychopath;
2. Don't have sex or engage in debauchery of any kind;
3. Never, under any circumstances, utter the phrase "I'll be right back" -- because you won't be;
4. Don't answer the phone; and
5. Most importantly, don't befriend Sydney Prescott ... people in her life tend to end up dead.

Bearing those rules in mind, sit back, relax and enjoy as the body count racks up.
