Taylor Swift Buys a $1.4 Million Home for Her Parents
Taylor Swift recently bought her parents a $1.4 million home in Nashville, Tenn.
UsMagazine.com is reporting a source close to the Swift said that the country singer bought "an incredible house" for her mom and dad, Andrea and Scott Swift.
The 5,000 square-foot , three-bedroom home was built in the 1920s but has been recently renovated. Key features include a blue stone terrace and a massive outdoor fireplace.
The source also says, "Taylor's been visiting her parents there and she's so excited for them."
This is not the only piece of real estate the 21-year-old Grammy winner has purchased recently; Swift is said to have bought a home for herself in Los Angeles.
A source talked about the reason behind Swift's own purchase. "She is in L.A. so much -- and she was paying a fortune in hotel charges!"
Swift recently had a low-key
dinner date with 'Country Strong' actor and singer Garrett Hedlund, sparking rumors that the couple could possibly be testing the waters before going out on a real date.

Wow, not bad for someone who can't sing and writes incredibly lame and childish lyrics.

So does michael jackson he can't sing or write good coherent songs either.Taylor is as good as some people at least i can understand the lyrics
@ marie, "So does michael jackson he can't sing or write good coherent songs either." It would be very hard for him to since he is dead. While he was alive, I have to disagree, he wasn't named the king of pop for no reason, i wasn't a fan, but i will recognize he had something!
MR. TED, GET YOUR EARS CHECKED,KIDDO.
MS. TAYLOR SWIFT IS BY FAR VERY TALENTED AND A JOY TO LISTEN TO AND SHE IS DEFINITELY A TRUE SUPERSTAR. THE SKY IS THE LIMIT FOR MS. SWIFT AND HER WONDERFUL TALENT AND KINDNESS.
That is such a great thing to do, and she is such a kind person to her parents. We need more people like this in this world today, not enough of them around. You are a great example for others Taylor, love your music!

It amazes me that a girl with no vocal talent can buy her parents a million dollar home. It amazes me that The Jersey Shore idiots can get 100,000 an episode. in America!

...............we've traded in talent for celebrity or is it that there is no more talent in the US anymore. I listen to rap and for the life of me I they just do not enunciate. How many singers out there actually have a voice that makes you run out to buy their album???
like all jersey girls they all use STP lip gloss and have a limited IQ

How Taylor Swift ever got a recording contract in the first place is beyond me! She may very well be a nice person but she certainly doesn't have a singing voice or any talent that I would consider worthy of a recording contract!
