Taylor Swift Buys a $1.4 Million Home for Her Parents

Taylor Swift recently bought her parents a $1.4 million home in Nashville, Tenn.

UsMagazine.com is reporting a source close to the Swift said that the country singer bought "an incredible house" for her mom and dad, Andrea and Scott Swift.

The 5,000 square-foot , three-bedroom home was built in the 1920s but has been recently renovated. Key features include a blue stone terrace and a massive outdoor fireplace.

The source also says, "Taylor's been visiting her parents there and she's so excited for them."

This is not the only piece of real estate the 21-year-old Grammy winner has purchased recently; Swift is said to have bought a home for herself in Los Angeles.

A source talked about the reason behind Swift's own purchase. "She is in L.A. so much -- and she was paying a fortune in hotel charges!"

Swift recently had a low-key dinner date with 'Country Strong' actor and singer Garrett Hedlund, sparking rumors that the couple could possibly be testing the waters before going out on a real date.

I cannot, for the life of me, understand why anyone thinks Taylor is gifted, or knows how to sing. I think she is very beautiful, however her talend I am still looking for. And that West arse, what he did to her last year is unforgivable, he could drop dead and I wouldn't care, the ugly, no count, bastardo.
He truly should stick with those Kardashian biatches....more his style and color!!

everyone has different tastes in music so no one should bash others opinions and taste in music. I, personally, like Taylors music. I cannot stand rap music of any kind, I can't stand heavy metal, and I don't like old country. I think she has more talent than others. Just because you don't think she has talent doesn't make it so. If she didn't she wouldn't have a recording contract and making a lot of money doing so.

To all that think she is immature and has no talent, she is keyed to young adults and younger, writes all her own music/lyrics, has won a whole lot of awards, and has concerts all over the world...I tend to think you all have tin ears...

The haters are just jealous Taylor. You are beautiful and talented and I think you're awesome for buying your parents a home. You are an incedible mentor for young women. I use you as an example to my daughters, grand-daughters and foster kids all the time to show them you don't have to scream profanities and dress like a hooker to be sucessful. It's refreshing to hear of a young person doing something nice for their parents...instead of giving them grief. Apparently she was reared the old way. I wish all of today's kids were reared the way I was. This world would be a different place!!
