Neil Patrick Harris Shows Off Twins on Twitter

Neil Patrick Harris played the role of doting dad Sunday on Twitter.

"Relaxing on a Sunday afternoon. My heart is full of love," Harris wrote as he shared a photo of his twins, Harper and Gideon, giggling with his partner, David Burtka.

Harris and Burtka welcomed their bundles of joy last October through a surrogate. The funny man also took to Twitter to make an official birth announcement.

"Babies!!" Harris wrote. "All of us are happy, healthy, tired, and a little pukey."

A bit of relaxing with his family is well deserved, as Harris recently starred alongside Stephen Colbert and Christina Hendricks in 'Company' at Avery Fisher Hall in New York City.

Does this mean that a single Dad, either due to the death of a female spouse or given custody can not provide a loving home to achild. Please leave you small minded thoughts behind and think critically.

Well them Sarahlynn, why don't you mother some motherless children in the orphanages? You know the kids that were left behind by parents who couldn't take care of their children, or give them a safe, happy, loving childhood? One day, maybe you can see that really, when a child is loved they know nothing else, and only outsiders know the difference,or care about the difference, not the child itself. If it bothers you that much, then don't read the story. Its not like you didn't know he was gay or had a baby with his partner, which is probably the source of your judgment anyway right?

good for Neil Patrick Harris his partner in life and these beautiful babies .. so nice to read a story like this and see two little ones looking so happy after reading Brooke Mueller ( Sheens ex) is again in rehab and those children are basically left parentles.

Why can't you just be happy for them? There are a lot of well adjusted kids without a mother and lots without a father. As long as the kids are well loved they will grow up happy. Just be happy for them and not a downer.

What adorable children. And, Sarahlynn, isn't it better that these children have two male parents who love them than no parents at all? Besides - what about all the children who have a mother only? Or don't you feel they need a father??? Congrats to the lucky parents.

How sad that someone so narrow minded is raising children at all. Children need unconditional love and yours certainly can't be getting it from you if you think that only a female can provide it to a child!

But perhaps you can still be jealous of the children of a lesbian couple because those kids get two moms!!!
